Gotham was boring as fuck

couldn't make it passed that argument @ the dinner (argument) scene due to how uninterested i was

Glad I skipped Gotham. Do you think it was pilot-itis or just a shit beginning to a shit series?

Edited by doublename

yeah gotham's pilot was complete poop, with all those hackneyed wink-wink nudge-nudge references to future batcock villians, strained and unbelievable "darkness and grit" atmosphere and uninteresting characters. the only thing i liked from it are those overflight shots of the city, those were lush.

Finished Season 8 of Trailer Park Boys on Netflix. Great. Kind of a throwback to the boys of old. Drama with the park, Cyrus & Sam. Even Corey is back. But no Trevor. Funny & feel-good stoner entertainment with ten short 25min episodes.

Guest Al Hounos

Finally watched Nathan for You. Immediately hooked. Hilariously original and clever.

Watched the Eric Andre show also, pretty funny. Tim and Eric are doing important work with Abso Lutely productions. Those boys have a bright future ahead of them.

Also, Tim and Eric bedtime stories is good fun. Wish we got more than 12 minutes a week though.

this show is about a guy who can't die (or rather, he dies then just wakes up again and resumes living). does that sound interesting? i actually thought it did until i started watching this show

holy fuck that shit was the bomb, in a hilariously cheesy way. At least ten guys would be sucked to their doom through a broken window into the vacuum of space in each episode, from a moonbase that couldn't have had more than a couple of hundred people.

Actually watched the two original Thunderbirds movies lately, also Gerry Anderson, forgot how great the music was:

Star Wars Rebels - basically Disney Wars, no one gets shot or hurt really, lead character looks like Playdough. needs improvement.

Season 2 of Brooklyn Nine-Nine started. This show is great!

Also, I finished Season 2 of Arrow. Loved it. Patiently awaiting Season 3.

house of cards season 2. great tv, however, im pretty sure the entire thing is just elaborate and subtle propaganda designed to trick people into thinking there are systems in place to hold the administration responsible for corporate corruption.

I've been watching Gotham as of late as well... only problem is that I never remember that its on. Luckily I have hulu and can watch it whenever.

Started going through Malcom In The Middle the other day, havent watched it in years, man there's SO much in that show that went over my head when I was younger.

the flash pilot is was really nice, pretty much how i imagine comic books to be having never read one. it's fast paced, peppered with light-hearted lols, nice cgi and fun characters, somewhat reminiscent of sam raimi's spidermans. it's like the opposite of that recenlty launched gotham turd with it's self serious and forced "darkness and corruption" over everything.

American Horror Story Freakshow - Typical AHS feel. Fell asleep half-way through. Will continue to watch though. Lobster boy shocker scene.

Best part: Opening title sequence was lovely as always.

Same here !

Started watching Veep too, am at middle of s02. I don't know if I like it or not, but it's a joy to see Julia Louis Dreyfus and Tony Hale in the same show (huge Seinfeld / Arrested Development fan).

Binged through the Hannibal seasons and enjoyed it very much. Mikkelsen's take on Lecter is great. Strangley bloody and brutal for a network show. And with the pretty cinematography it feels like a HBO-type show.
