i'd go live in a river. become some kind of river dweller covered in weeds living off eels.

A+ on canabalism, count me in. I spent five weeks at a wilderness skills school, can make bow drill fire kits, tan hides etc.

Plus I'm canadian. Since we have daily encounters with bears, moose, and beaver as we trek to school/work on snowshoes, our survival skills are pretty well developed by the time we hit high school. Additionally, as canoe is the only means of mass transport, I'm handy on the river.

My family is from Maine so I can do those things, too, but with a ridiculously stupid accent

Get a degree in CompSci and you'll be able to understand a modern car.

while I do think I have a natural scrounging ability, I doubt that I'd survive a single winter as I get so goddam cold and can't shake it.

my house is 23 degrees right now and I'm shaking I'm so cold.

also, despite being a psychotherapist, I think I'd go crazy without the innernette and access to porn.

i could also teach y'all how to use/shoot a gun, if you don't already know. - most handguns aswell as rifles.

shotguns are a piece of piss anyway.

i also know how to 'reload' bullets. ;)

edit: meaning i can make new bullets, with a machine. if you have such a machine, and bullets, and cases, and gunpowder!

I am quite good at spotting when a table is about to become vacant in a busy pub or cafe.

Post apocalypse, I think this would translate to spotting when starving survivors are about to step away from the rotting corpse they have been desperately eating from.
