Tim Schafer is making a new Adventure Game

I know there are a bunch of classic adventure game fans here on WATMM so I just thought that I would let you guys know that Double Fine's Tim Schafer... fuck explaining it. Just watch this awesome video that was posted around 16 hours ago:

Their goal was to reach $400.000 in 33 days but as of now (16 hours after launch) they're at $961.000! Amazing.

If a new adventure game is happening I can't see why Psychonauts 2 won't? It ended up with a huge fan base over the years

I was suggesting psychonauts 2 might not be happening as this adventure game may take priority as major project. Who knows who knows! :)

I hope the game is as interesting as those classics of his, I loved those games.

His last adventure game, Grim Fandango, was amazing and one of the best adventure games ever so if it's just half as good then I'm more than pleased.

Aw, and I was proud of how the Angry Video Game Nerd had done in financing his feature film, but Adventure Time has blown it away.

Man, I've been watching waaaayyy too much Adventure Time. Everytime I want to type in "adventure game" I type Adventure Time instead.

I donated to this kickstarter without ever having played his games before—I just always wanted to try Grim Fandango out but don't think I can install it on a new-ish mac. :\ Anyway, looking forward to whatever the hell I donated to.

i guess everyone is forgetting the success that was brutal legend.
