It's actually a shot from that Solvent guy's studio. He keeps a life-size wax statue of Aphex Twin in his house for reasons.

If you read the archives, people have sourced not only the interview that photo came from, but also where he bought that particular Synthi 100 from. Curiously, no one knows why they've done this.
