Sadly, I'm still stuck at home and can't afford to get out of my parents' house as of yet and I'm 22. I'm hoping to be able to get out by next summer, though.

dude, don't feel bad about that at all. im a few years older than you and in the same situation. economic depressions suck...and its also pathetic to be living with your parents..but on the upside, you are saving a significant amount of money away while others spend half-75 percent of what they earn on rent and utilities. I try to justify it to myself by working non-stop....that way it doesn't feel as horrible.

Exactly. It took a friend of mine a full year to save up $1000 to pay what his loans/grants/whatever wouldn't pay for his school this year, and I've saved $500 in three months working 30 hours a week. It is certainly nice paying a small amount for rent which includes utilities and groceries, laundry, etc... I'd rather be afforded this opportunity than getting kicked out at 18 like a lot of my friends did, some of whom have, from what I have heard, have ended up homeless :cerious:

I just miss being able to cook at 3am and blare Dael without worrying about waking anyone up :music:
