Uh, no not exactly, but the way he is processing the lead synth sound is very similar to the way that you process sound through the Thor synthesizer. It's like the way that you can recognize a 707 snare hit or an 808 kick. It also has a very synthetic sounding reverb on it. I say that because the reverb is so constant and perfect that it sounds like a computer. You can't really hear the way it would sound if it were being processed then bouncing through an actual space, but it is possible he just mixed it that way. I use Reason a lot and it sounds very much like what reverb sounds like in Reason. I'm not being a snob. I asked where I could buy it so obviously I like it. I was just saying if he is in fact using a computer, of which I'm not even certain, this song could be just that much better if he used real gear. If he using real gear then in my opinion he mixed it a little flat.

Well, actually I think after listening to Aphex Twin for like 3 years straight now he used computers mostly for sequencing and not so much for the synthetic sounds. I'm not saying he didn't use synthetic sound or synthetic processing because he mostly likely did, but If you listen to either of those albums you can tell that he uses a lot of samples (probably mostly made by himself and some downloaded or whatever) which to some extent negates the fact that he is using a computer in the first place. You can process sounds with computers to make them sound better, but I think its easier to make good music using actual gear because you don't have to process each sound so much just to give it a little bit more depth to make it interesting.
