Draft 7.30 worked very will in a dark room, headphones, on the bed while on acid. Every little click and fart was in the perfect place and made all the sense in the world why it was there. Since that experience that album has a special place in the Autechre discography for me.

lol, piezo was also a stand out for me during the same session as draft 7.30.

Autechre's music really makes so much sense on psychedelics. It's so beautiful. I would highly recommend Chiastic Slide for those situations as well. The altered time perception works so perfectly with it. And you can bet this is 100% intentional

i first started smoking weed a little after i started getting into autechre, and the combination of weed and watching the gantz graf vid loud in a dark room changed my life... never looked back. unfortunately weed doesn't act as a powerful psychedelic for me anymore, but i will never forget those early experiences.

i look forward to exploring other psychedelic worlds for many years to come and within them autechre will play a vital role.
