The version of 'XYZ' broadcast at the Peel Session was, in fact, an early demo. After it was broadcast, they started working on it more, until a final version was produced. When it was time to release the session on Warp, finished versions of the tracks (e.g. Happy Cycling) were chosen in place of the broadcast versions, to improve the quality of the release. However, BoC did not want the finished version of XYZ to be included. It has not been confirmed exactly why, but it is known that at that point in the production, the track became very personal to them.

It is possible that the finished version of XYZ appears on the hand-made copies of the Peel Session release mentioned by DJ Food some time ago.
