Equally it could be that the very factors which predispose people to use cannabis early also predispose them to common mental health problems. = we don't know shit yeah, they don't know the relationship between cannabis and anxiety, but they've discovered there is one and that's the important part. you gotta start somewhere. I had this so hard when I was a kid. I got it after a particularly shitty case of the stomach flu at age 4 or 5 or something. I was afraid of other sicknesses as well after that, almost to the point of hypochondriasis. Still afraid of vomiting, but not nearly as much. But seriously, vomiting is like, the worst thing ever. Everything about it feels horrible, from the stomach pain to the gut tingling to the bad taste... I'm probably not helping. I HEAR THAT. I had a dream last night about getting seasick from a building I was in which was swaying, felt way too real. Anyone who's sick around me, or tells me about it, I have to leave. Housemates who tend to be sick and not clean it up and leave it to me...means I'll have a massive hissyfit. Lucky for me people understand it and tell me if there's going to be sick in a film, or cover my eyes and steer me away from people if they're sick... I think it was the stomach flu after eating a tub of those sherbet flying saucers that really kicked it off. sergeantk
i am currently treating my anxiety with breathing techniques. I learned that if you breath quickly it will actually stress you out due to a chemical released in your brain. Breathing out slowly releases a chemical that relaxes you. Its amazing how 10 minutes of slow breathing can mellow me out to an almost intoxicated state.
