Winning three major tournaments in a row is a pretty impressive feat. It might make them the greatest of all time.

The thing that pissed me off was the whole "hope you learn something" quip. Wonder if he was saying that in 2007?

백호야~~~항상에 사랑할거예요.나의 아들.

Shout outs to the saracens, musulmen and celestials.

Speaking of old-Ajax school of thought, guess who's the next coach of Holland: Louis van Gaal. The man behind the '95 Ajax school of thought. Or were you aiming at the Cruyff school of thought?

Well, initially it began in Hungary Golden Team of 50s (Puskas, Kocsis and co) - the so-called socialistic brand of football when their regime placed all the best players in one team of army. That meant the opportunity to play an avant-garde type of free positioning football. World Cup 1954 is where it's at - tragic event, they fucked Germany 8:3 first and then lost in the final to them 2:3, just like Netherlands in 1974. Also Hungary was the first team to teach England that british era of game is gone with 6:3 at Wembley and 7:1 in Budapest. It was the closest prototype of 70s dutch total football of Michels. Then Ajax developed the whole youth system and ideology for years to come. Barca/Spain is only a copy of that attitude.

Renegade Cruyff took all this to Barcelona with all their money to keep talents, he found Guardiola in juniors, gave him new role and taught central ideas. Suddenly they call their school the best one in the world, like they created it. Basically they just made it cowardly horizontal and futsal-like. By the way, Barca youth are still fucked by Ajax (0-3 at home in NextGen quarter-finals, new Champions League U-19 founded last year).

I'm glad at van Gaal return, because it's his last chance to keep coaching. The most exciting national coach since Maradona in terms of going against status quo.

van Gaal is a good choice. they really need someone who can mold all those disparate talents into a functioning team. The next world cup is this generation's last hurrah - with Sneijder, Robben, van Persie, Huntelaar all 28 and van der Vaart 29. They need some defenders though, especially central defenders, good god.

And that post by stabilo is exactly what I'm talking about by gloating spanish nuthuggers.

we win something after decades of losing and underperforming and you expect us not to enjoy?

that part was obviously just some silly football fan mocking. it makes sense in the bar... anyhow, i do love how spain played since 2008, I enjoyed it and I am ready for the downfall of this generation
