Its pretty disappointing. The icons look like a hasty mishmash and don't fit well together aesthetically, especially the negative space in the bohemian owl pic and it would seem more appropriate if the logo and the icon panel were separate image files. I think this was tossed together over some wattery 7/11 coffee without much consideration. Maybe its a placeholder until the web designer can get enough methamphetamine to fuel an evening of inspired photoshopping.

The owl on that site is a part of this logo. "BOC"

i don't see how it could be an invasion of privacy. doing a whois search is hardly sophisticated detective work. and the placement of the fnord under the NCD logo and text pretty much ensures that whomever did this did it on purpose.

Since when is there always a correlation between the amount of effort being done in detective work and the invasion of privacy? The littlest things someone does could be seen as an act of privacy breach. It's all relative and subjective.

 

Besides one has to pay for the results of a proper reverse whois lookup in order for example to see which actual domain names have been registered to Hexagon Sun. That's the way how the newcleardawn popped up on the internet. Some user paid to have the info revealed and then publically disclosed it.

 

See there is one thing of a) doing this in your own private time and b) making it public for all to view. I agree the info is obviously there to be discovered, but not that easy for a computer illiterate to find out about. It's not really up for grabs.

 

But then again I truly hope New Clear Dawn is still BoC related and that they are just misleading us for the while being. Also if it is indeed BoC related I do hope it didn't spoil things too much for them which might have caused some additional delay in releasing the new album.

 

The FNORD thing, the typical boc imagery, the cool domain name, the atom bomb banner... could it really be all coincedence? Prolly yes, but still it would be cool!

I don't think this New Clear Dawn (although a very cool name I will admit) and the new album are connected.

There's no way that website isn't related to boc. Fucking pyramids, owls and handshakes. that is just so boc.
