A few albums recently listened.

High on Fire - De Vermis Mysteriuss (misspelled)

My album of the year for 2012 so far. Really great in your face metal. The first three tracks alone make this album a must listen. Not hearing much of the stoner metal influences because i consider it to be much more of a thrash metal record. Last track is the only sort of weak track

Ambient News - Zweite Sendung - Not as good as the first Ambient News album but some sweet tracks on here nonetheless. Like the first album, probably best to listen to the whole way through 4 or 5 times, then some of the tracks just become addictive. Like drugs 8/10

Digital Orgasm - It - Cheesy as fook, but some great tracks on here. Invokes much nostalgia! 7/10

Peter Gabriel - Passion. Pretty fucking incredible. 10/10

radiohead - amnesiac

oh hi amnesiac. been a while. i remember you being pretty out of it, kind of depressed. overweight. rings under the eyes. just really rough. i know, it was a bad time for everyone. you were just so easy to write off. first impressions and all that. so how's the last decade treated you? kid a? i haven't seen him either. but you're looking really good. you got...hot. i don't know, maybe it's me that's changed. i'm heading up to my room, you wanna join me? no, bring everything. even pulk. let's party.

Vidna Obmana - Gathering In Frozen Beauty

Both amazing ambient albums, some of the very best. Listened to them both many times over the past few weeks. They are from the 80s, and though ambient have a industrial and gritty aspect to them. They arent a million miles away from SAW2.

These are taking me in the zone when I'm listening to them, has to be a 10/10 for both.

Death Grips - The Money Store 7/10 - great ideas on album

Scuba - Personality 8/10 - like the new direction

Lone - Galaxy Garden 10/10 - I will look back at this album in 10 years and think it was a classic

El-P - Cancer 4 Cure 6,5/10 - Huge El-P fan, but this album left me dissapointed, only a few standout track

Squarepusher - Ufabulum 6/10 - Only like 5 tracks on this album, Red In Blue, 303 Scopem Hard and The Metallurgist is some of the worst I've heard made by Tom

Deerhunter - Microcastles: 8/10: The majority of songs are fantastic, though I get pretty bored with the middle of the album. Some of my favorite deerhunter tracks are on this album, but Cryptograms has far more album cohesiveness.

Lilacs & Champagne - Lilacs & Champagne: Good/10: I've only listened to it once so far, but from what I've heard it's pretty great. It's beat driven psychedelia with occasional vocals and such. I can't really explain it. Calling it Psychedlic Trip-hop doesn't really do it justice.

Pye Corner Audio - Black Mill Tapes 1 & 2 - 8/10

KA - Grief Pedigree - to the point lyricsm woven into simple sample based beats. best rap album i heard in a very while. 10/10

Billy Woods - History will absolve me - another very strong rap release this year. 9/10

Bigg Jus - Machines That Make Civilization Fun - that's not an easy album, but which justoleum album is? 7/10

Photodementia - Fig. 03 - as a big admirer of Drexciya this is just the stuff i want to hear. 10/10

Adham Shaikh - Journey To The Sun. Classic Ambient/Chillout album from 95. Very dreamlike. 9/10.

Fold - Slowburn. Nice little Dubby, musical and melodic album. 8/10.

Stephen Hummel - Meld. Excellent electronica album from one of my favourite producers/musicians. 9/10.

Yeasayer - Odd Blood. Great little Psychedelic Pop album. 8/10.

Motion Sickness Of Time Travel - S/T - Big, beautiful and cosmic Ambient/Electronic album. 9/10.

Arovane - Lillies

Beautiful album, i played it for a friend for the first time since he loves idm, ambient and downtempo a lot, he knows a few artists but have heard a lot, but not this, and he loved it, same as i do, amazing piece of music! you all know it ofcrs. 10/10

Squarepusher - Ufabulum

Different album of his, i don't love it but i love some songs! unique sound and it's hard to enjoy in your home, but at a club i guess most of it would do it's part, but i keep listen to it. 7/10

Lone - Galaxy Garden

What can i say? Truly an amazing album! 10/10

Bibio - Ambivalence Avenue

This album i didn't enjoy fully when it got released but i heard it a few times now and it get's better every time. 8/10

Loscil - Endless falls

Amazing ambient album, keep repeating it, The making of grief point is an amazing track, OMG!! 10/10

guess that's about it of the whole albums I've listened to, heard many more but skipped a track here and there.

It's not musical gold by any means, but I feel that it's an album that anyone should have. It compliments any sunny summer day nicely.

Yea, i don't mash it but i love most of his albums, and i love the song list, how he arranged it, it makes it sort of a journey!

his music, listened precisely the way he intended is what i prefer as well, so smooth and creamy. incredible sounds, he is very gifted musician
