I think initially it was because she wanted people to think she was a dupe so she didn't get any unwanted attention.

It's not just about the kids. We work well as a 'partnership'. In a sense it would be 'settling' as I always thought I would marry primarily for romantic love. First world problem. For 98% of human history and culture, romantic love wouldn't be an issue and the world would be full of mini kakapos running about already.

So I've had to cut contact with former flatmate (well, at least that will save me money) and rich bitch has given me an ultimatum of September to decide whether we're getting married...

i had a female friend marry a north african to keep him in the usa. she was paid by the family. paid for her massage school. she had to go to interviews to prove they werent gaming the system. i think it might have been more trouble than it was worth. She even had a live in boyfriend. (even though, she fucked the african guy on their "honey moon"... it lasted 30 seconds)

Apparently her mom brews bai jiu (rice-based hard alcohol), so a good time should be had by all. Either that, or they'll drown me in the nearby river...

In my experience, drinking bai jiu never leads to a good time. It does however, often tend to facilitate complete nakedness...:)

You should only have kids if you really want them. Same thing with being married.

In fact, there are a lot of people that grow up totally fucked in the head because their parents just wanted kids, and didn't think about how to raise them. Or if they would be any good at it.
