fucking lol.

I bet half of you would take pics and post them proudly if you had a real moog. The real moog doesn't have all of that fancy modulation shit. Yet you are upset that this is a "stripped down" version. Use it as it is: a minimoog emulation. The end.

what's more frustrating is not being able to code a plugin from raw code, and look, they did that for you, and then gave it to you for free.

live has a built in arpeggiator. im sure other daws do too.

are you saying that hitting "like" is not equal to free?

Yep, happily arping the VSTi away using Buzz's peer machines. Not an issue at all !

I haven't eaten a Wagon Wheel since 07/11/07... ilovecubus.co.uk - 25ml of mp3 taken twice daily.

no it isn't. it's equal to advertising, and giving various 'partners' access to your profile and your details.

i simply wanted to turn off the arpegiator from an arpeggio preset which seems impossible...

i mean, how do you build your own preset? i opened an arpeggio one, started messing around, kind of trying to reset it, but i can't seem to stop the arpeggiator from running...

lol but i can't seem to stay out of it...

i don't value my own privacy, if i did, i didn't had a facebook account...

that said, my own privacy has nothing to do with this, everytime i like something on facebook, that stuff gets more views, conclusion, i'm helping something getting spread... i'm doing that for free, while enterprises make their lives out of this business...

i think most people didn't yet grabbed the concept of the like button... its almost as if i glued an Arturia sticker on my car... and this goes for everything.

That's pretty much what I've been saying this whole time and everyone seemed pissed because of it. I have nothing against free promotion but there is an underlying reality of the situation

Anyways, I like how it sounds but the whole lack of arpeggio editing is kinda annoying, oh well, what can you really expect for "free"

if you are even remotely concerned about your own privacy you'd know to stay the hell away from Facebook. but really, i'm willing to bet not a single one of you has anything even close to interesting to hide. the government doesn't care about your porn addiction.

of course, but why is that a bad thing? if someone said "here i'll give you a porsche if you advertise our product on it", would you take it? would you take it if you knew that person was going to make millions off of you performing that task? not equating this situation to a porsche, but regardless everyone is always out to exploit somebody. if you don't do it yourself you're going to be poor your whole life. i think the moral line falls somewhere in the realm of whether the positive outcomes of an exploit outweigh the negative ones.

if you accidentally broke your finger clicking that like button, then maybe we could talk. otherwise i don't think you have any basis for complaining about this offer, keeping in mind nobody is FORCING you to take part in it.

i can't believe the amount of philosphical wankery that goes on around these parts. what is the point in putting a negative spin on everything in life?

edit: not directing this entire post at your quote MJ.

So basically they are giving away their old plug-ins to promote their new plug-ins.

And what's that library thing, just samples of real analog synths?

Basically its a vst that has a sort of a 'best of' sounds from their previous synths with one glaring drawback.. -- you can only edit like 4 pre-set parameters in the synths!

They also sell it with a special USB keyboard. Nifty for some, all the sounds and modulation possibilities were drier than a turkey besides a few on there though. I do like the minimoog as I said though, I use it all the time in tracks now.

it's really too bad they didn't make it like a "Reaktor/Reaktor Player" type thing where if you own the software synths used in a preset you can open them up and edit further.

  Reveal hidden contents

LOL. the origin. what an overpriced whale haha.

As for this thread. keep facebook or leave it. Pirate the synths if you want full versions or buy them if you feel like spending a lot of money. But, FFS, stop the needless facebook argument.

Also... the modulation matrix is really what makes that synth capable of some lush sounds that set it apart from a normal minimoog and also set it apart from most VST's I have worked with. I do use the synth quite a bit dry for just midi sync (BASS), but not gonna lie being able to control your cutoff and make motion sends, ect. is pretty snazzy and more versatile than the original minimoog (sound-wise, its not as good blah blah blah)
