it tested my attention span. as beautiful as each shot was i still think music is for ears and visuals are distracting. however saying that it did make me stop what i was doing and really listen. i don't love this new track. looking forward to hearing the rest

I love how weirdly funky it is in places. But yeah, the man is a visionary. Totally compelling and brilliantly fucked up.

This is going to sound pretentious as all hell but the feeling I get from that track is similar to the intoxicating feeling of expanded awareness that i feel when I have lucid dreams.

There's just absolutely nothing like this. And I totally see why people would hate it, but don't pass judgement till at least the 2:30 mark. Just been getting into his solo stuff recently and I noticed that his style is not welcoming on the onset but after awhile you crave these moments in his tracks eventually leading to a complete appreciation for the entire structure.

the line about "take that in the bollocks for a start" makes me laugh everytime. did scott say there was humour in his lyrics in that documentary or was that someone else?

I caved in. I was right when I predicted this to be my album of the year. Stand outs for me are SDSS14+13B, Corps De Blah and Phrasing.

This album is magnificent.

Epizootics is incredible and exactly what I'd hoped for and expected - gonna try and hold off on the leak though cause I'm looking forward to the whole ritual of listening to this one.
