I recall a scene in the animated film 'The Prince of Egypt' where Moses is leading a procession through the parted Red Sea and a Whale is visible through the temporary water-wall...

Either way it is great cover art. I could never get into this guy's vocal style but he's certainly found success as a bedroom producer so props to him!

I think Fireflies might still be worse. The lyrics are so quiffy/cringeworthy, it's uncomfortable to hear.

I like all sorts of music - I'm not limited to just hardcore electronic music, y'know. Sometimes saccharine-sweet synthpop is nice to bob your head to.

Same here. It's just soooo fucking contrived, or at least contrived sounding. I rather hear the most utterly retarded poppy 4/4 dance track than some kid signed to a major label trying to sound all sincere and emotional - whether it's this electropop nonsense or some chick strumming an acoustic guitar and wanting to "be heard" or some shit.

I don't see a problem with liking owl city. I mean, I hate the guy, but whatever floats your boat. It does seem a bit odd to start a topic about his release on this forum, though.
