considering that Obama has shut down more of the medical marijuana industry

(yes this is fact, ) than any previous president before him combined, probably not any time soon

Lol, how long has the "medical marijuana industry" been around? I'm guessing it didn't precede Bush. So you're saying Obama shut down more than Bush. Which may make simple sense if, statistically, there are simply more of the places around now.

After this I listened to geogaddi and I didn't like it, I was quite vomitting at some tracks, I realized they were too crazy for my ears, they took too much acid to play music I stupidly thought (cliché of psyché music) But I knew this album was a kind of big forest where I just wasn't able to go inside.

I was in US tjis summer, and eat in KFC. FUCK That's the worst thing i've ever eaten. The flesh simply doesn't cleave to the bones. Battery ferming. And then, foie gras is banned from NY state, because it's considered as ill-treat. IT'S NOT. KFC is tourist ill-treat. YOU POISONERS! Two hours after being to KFC, i stopped in a amsih little town barf all that KFC shit out. Nice work!

So i hope this woman is not like kfc chicken, otherwise she'll be pulled to pieces.

well, it wasn't industrialized, but marijuana was sold and used by doctors in the late 19th-early 20th century.

i am becoming increasingly curious as to, if properly motivated, a significant proportion of disenchanted voters would put in a vote of no confidence. if we unified under one concept to push the fact that we think the process as it exists is a joke, would it send a message?

haha good idea, but no. from the minds of the voting masses it'd look like something made up by a pothead. yes, just another excuse to procrastinate.

it existed under Clinton as well, and it's especially odd considering Obama said mulitiple times he wouldnt prosecute medical marijuana users or establishmets. Bush never made any such promise. If you can't see the betrayal of this being a big deal i don't know what to tell you. There really is no excuse imaginable that can forgive what he did, if you can think of one please let us know, because what you just said has no bearing on Obama's aggressive prosecutions of medical marijuana.

I thought Cali legalized medical marijuana in the mid-90s?

it did, but i guess my statement is lol-worthy since it points to yet another Obama reversal/let-down

oh he also has deported more undocumented immigrants than Bush has, and this is only in his first term. Let me repeat, Obama has deported more undocumented immigrants than Bush did in an entire 8 years. (Fact). Obama has also prosecuted more inside government whistleblowers than any administration previous to him combined, also a doucumented fact.

Sorry for asking, but isn't the immigrants thing run on a state level and not on a national level? (not trolling - honest question)

maybe in certain instances yeah, but this was a new initiative under Obama spearheaded by Homeland Security to deport illegals with criminal records. In the end less than 40% had criminal records.

not quite that simple as both the feds and local governments are cracking down on dispensaries.

if you can make some pot magically appear for your approved personal medical use, you'll be fine, though. maybe.

back in the pub primaries, it was obvious that romney was the only person they could select. the only reason i can see for the GOPs recent actions is that this election will be a planned loss. it's pretty unfathomable that romney could win, and with the corporate interests that back obama and cross party lines, i don't think the GOP even wants to win this. if they lose, they can spend the next 4 years telling the american people it's all the dems fault, while blocking any legislation that might go to fix any problem.

i have on my tin foil hat today because this election just seems silly. even mccain had a shot with palin, but i don't think the top or bottom of the GOP ticket has a chance in hell.

i just think it's interesting that neither party is fiscally conservative, while most americans would describe themselves that way. voting for social change is nauseating

you dont have to have a tin foil hat on to believe that in part the elections are one big show and that in part certain candidates (bob dole, mccain, john Kerrey, mit romney) were basically selected for their dive taking ability or they know it's their duty to take a dive. Im not saying it's as simple as a fixed fight, but you're picking up on something that's pretty accurate. There is not a fucking chance in hell mitt romney will win, just like there wasn't a chance in hell any of the other candidates i mentioned would win.

As soon as Mccain picked Sarah Palin the first thing i thought was 'ok he's decided to take a dive' and he went down in flames. Whether this makes me a conspiracy theorist or not i dont give a shit

This video does a good job of documenting the overall corruption that blatantly took place during voting / procedures of the GOP convention.

Full disclosure - I am a Ron Paul supporter, but this thread is not about politics or policy discussion. This is about the GOP silencing dissention, changing rules on the day to prohibit Ron Paul (and any future candidate who might dare to butt heads with the establishment), and generally acting like corrupt dicks.

Short version - GOP rules require(d) a candidate have a plurality of delegates in 5 states to be on the ballot for nomination. Ron Paul showed up with a plurality in 6 states. So what do you think happened? Establishment GOPers then brought up and 'passed' a motion (under great contention, amidst boos, chants of 'shame on you' and ignored calls for objection) to change the requirement to 8 states, basically with the sole intent of kicking Paul off the ballot and giving Romney the nomination by default. Rules were also passed to basically bind all delegates in future elections, and prohibiting any grassroots candidates from ever gaining any traction or having their voice heard at conventions.

Why is this a problem? The conventions were originally designed to debate policy issues, discuss different ideas, debate different nominees and their platforms, etc. That's why they had a 5 state rule, so even candidates with less popular support could have their voice heard. But now the whole thing has been mutated into pre-ordained Romney circle-jerk, where all speeches are pre-written and approved, and all must include a no-strings attached endorsement of Mitt Romney. That's why Ron Paul did not speak at the convention. He was offered a speaking role under two conditions: 1. He submit his speech to party leaders for pre-approval. 2. He fully endorse Mitt Romney. He turned the offer down.

There are other many instances of corruption & dissention that were generally ignored by the media. The delegates in Maine boycotted and walked out of the convention because the GOP decided to take delegates away over supposed 'procedural errors'. The Maine delegates that ended up voting were replacement delegates. A bus carrying the Virginia delegates was 'lost' for one hour, causing them to miss the crucial rules change vote.

Anyway, I hope GOPers here in particular pay attention to this bullshit going on in your party. They want to win at all costs; fairness, transparency, honest debate, country be damned
