I must say, this and the pitchfork opinion has made me revise my initial impression of the guy, this Skrillex. I just assumed that since a lot of these chucklehead, Axe-spray, beef-armed, dickbrained bullies like dubstep (at least from my cornfield, middle-America geographical point of view, which I admit is hardly a statistically valid sample set), that he was at least tolerant of that way of life, if not a member of the class of that American coolguy. Now it seems to me that he's just some naive kid who's gotten swept up in a commercial machine that is outside of his control. So I don't hate him. I don't really like his music, but I won't be so harsh in my comments about him anymore.

Yeah, I actually really like his interviews...I appreciate someone who puts a lot of research and effort into coming up with original questions as opposed to asking the same old regurgitated shit you've heard in tons of other interviews. I always thought the way he acted was a way to pry out the interviewees personalities, to get a reaction out of them and give them a chance to defend themselves (like in the same way Colbert does). Either way, if it's not intentional, I enjoy that it works that way anyway.

It's pointing out Nardwuar giving Skrillex an unofficial SAW 85-92 repress.

I didn't take a dig at Skrillex, if anything it was just Nardwuar for thinking that RDJ and Tom are the same person. I found it funny that those two incidents happened in succession considering Skrillex is a big fan of RDJ.

For me the most embarrassing thing about Sonny Moore (that`s his real name is..) is that media/management are comparing his music to RDJ and Prodigu (for example...). Good thing about it more people get interested in AFX works that never heard before..

Also I`m happy that there`s a lot of him in media because people will bet bored of him in shorter period.

He is 23 so maybe in future he will more mature and follow in right - far from current - direction.

Can someone recommend me some good music similar to Skrillex? All i can think of is AFX...and the 5.6.7.8's.
