I've never liked that one, for some reason... I know I'm "wrong" of course but to me it's one of their worst. It's so slow

was listening to Surripere earlier and it struck me just how skilled and finely-tuned the sound design is. the brutality and harshness of that section from 5min onwards would surely only have been possible and workable with those sounds softened and mixed just the way they are. that expertise they showed around confield/draft/untilted is not only phenomenal but it offers 100x more variety in the total sound palette and sonic range which is available to use.
