just finally got my ps4 and last of us, gonna play it, I literally watched all the spoilers before, anyway, if game is good is good

Nope. There was a time that I was excited for a new Zelda game even though I didn't have a Nintendo system to play the game on. But since Skyward Sword I haven't been interested at all. The whole "you see that mountain over there? You can go there!"-surprise that was huge back when Skyrim was announced. But not anymore. Nintendo is a bit behind to say the least.

Sony just announced a game called WATTAM? Joyrex? Did you have anything to do with this?

at first I was ok, but then fighting and shooting mechanics kicks in and that looks crazy, overall that's looks like uncharted game spirit, the climbing is much more physical

YES! This game looks amazing! I'm super excited for this. I loved Uncharted 1-3. Can't wait!

Very early (ie unconfirmed) reports that Ralph Baer 'the father of video games' has passed away. Sad if true, the man was the catalyst for the entire industry.

I just finished Bayonetta 2 the other day. Game of the Year for me. Now I can spend more time on Smash, and I also need to give Persona Q a spin. I picked up Yaiba: Ninja Gaiden Z the other day for next to nothing. Anyone played it? Is it as bad as they say?

I haven't even tried yet, just been playing lots of local multiplayer in smash tour and some of the other modes like classic and events

Same here. Those games raised the bar for storytelling and the PS3's visual capabilities.

 

I don't have a PS4 yet, but I'm gonna make sure I have one just in time for this. Or THPS5/Silent Hills, whichever one comes first.

I bought Dark Souls: Prepare to Die for $5 on Steam. I keep getting killed by skeleton warriors who reanimate right after being defeated. When does the real fun begin? I like the atmosphere and the combat controls are good, but the openness of the world is both enticing and irritating. I like that it's not a fetch-quest game though.

You're actually headed to the catacombs, which is the wrong way. Head towards the staircase on the cliff where you see a big bridge, to the Undead Burg.
