What Video Games Are You Currently Playing

I bought Dragon Ball Xenoverse for PS4 yesterday. I played it for a few hours and kinda like it, which is saying a lot considering I have hated every DB-related game since Budokai 3.

finally. can't find anywhere whether or not this is confirmed cross buy tho. glad i didn't end up buying it for wiiu. excited to play bastion on console too but gonna wait for it to come down a good bit since i already own it on steam.

Finished Wolfenstein: New World Order last night.

Pretty good.

The cutscenes were something else. Very well executed.

Purchased the Mario Kart DLC so been playing that again with some buds. Also sloooowly making my way through Earthbound. I don't have much time to sink into RPGs anymore but I finally got Paula in my party.

fun game, i was stupid for paying full price for it though. should have waited for a steam sale.

i also wish shooters would just fill the game with loads of different guns and weapons, it makes it so much more fun. i like blasting people with shotguns as much as the next man, but it would be fun to have more games with the scope that perfect dark had in weapon variety.

i would actually happily pay 50 quid for a current gen revamp of perfect dark. that game was close to perfect.

Anyone playing Final Fantasy Realm Reborn? Finally checked it out. I am loving that I'm playing a real MMO on console. Got a little bluetooth keyboard and its good to go. (game plays great on a controller except for typing obviously) Love this game so far.

never played an mmo because i fear what may happen. with the new golden saucer update that game looks pretty fuckin' rad tho

I'd probably give it a shot if there wasn't a monthly subscription fee.

It's the easiest MOBA to play, and the games are always quite short. There seems to be less incredibly unpleasant people playing it, but that's probably just because there's less people playing it in general.

Thanks for the heads up :) I guess most of the people playing MOBAs are just way too impolite !

Also, finally had a little extra money and bought BoI : Rebirth. Shocked by how fast the game is, everything's a lot harder to handle than in the first game - probably because I didn't spent as many hours on Rebirth as I did on Wrath of the Lamb tho

Day of Defeat: Source has been my game of choice for the past week or so. I used to play it a shit ton when it first came out but haven't really bothered with it since then. It's kinda sad to see how unpopulated the servers are nowadays, but I guess it's not too surprising when you take into account how old it is and how many alternatives have been released since. Lack of content probably didn't help either, but whatever, it's still a good game and I'll continue to enjoy it until it meets its inevitable demise.

Also, whilst on the subject of Valve, all of that rad GDC shit is happening this week (specifically, from tomorrow onwards). I wouldn't count on any news related to the biggie, but I'm expecting lots of Steam Machine, VR and Source 2 reveals.

I remember SSHD on PS3 being stupidly fun. Pretty sure it was the first ever game to implement trophies too.

Yep - SSDU is more of the same, and just as fun. Weirdly enough, I play better in 3D than without...
