It's not that ugly - only the main character design is (IMO) - otherwise, it's a nice pixel-based game.

It's not that ugly - only the main character design is (IMO) - otherwise, it's a nice pixel-based game.

 

eh didn't much care for any of the enemy or character designs. i agree that the backgrounds look pretty good though. just would've preferred less chibi looking stuff. awesome gameplay tho.

it has started crashing 99% of the time i clear the castle and purposely die w/more than 100k gold which is kind of obnoxious but it always saves my gold total and any obols or other special items i'd picked up (fyi only played it on vita).

really surprised how much fun i had with this game ;O

Picked up a PS4 with a copy of GTAV. Great fun, everything I'd expect a sequel to be (GTAIV was a bit underwhelming anyway). FlyLo FM is great, as well.

I have a Mac Mini. 2.6GHz Intel Core i7 (Quad Core), 16GB 1600MHz DDR3, Intel HD Graphics 4000 768 MB graphics. Running OSX 10.8.5.

I'm guessing it's the video card. It runs super choppy.

^ yeah it's definitely the integrated video card, I had the same issue with Civ 5

Thunderbolt, and USB 3.1 are probably the only interfaces that would have enough bandwidth to handle a half-way decent proper graphics card via a pluggable port.

I don't think there are any external boxes you can get. Also, if you're on a Mac, you'd be limited due to driver compatibility :(

I'm not sure something like that would work (especially on Apple Machines) but I'm interested as well !!!

I mean, I understand that is what a PC is. But if they could dumb it down to really easy plug and play for the iphone type crowd.

After several contradictory articles today, it looks like Hideo Kojima's time at Konami has ended. His name has been removed from most projects/websites and it's expected he and his team will leave Konami after MGS5.

I think the idea is that he's more of a contractor with Konami now, so he will stay to finish up his contract for MGS:V. I'd hope this also means there are more contracts on the table as well, like Silent Hills... It'd be a goddamned tragedy if this game was stuck in development hell. They can't just dangle Kojima, Del Toro, and Reedus in front of us like that and rip it away...

Kojima has been promising to make games other than MGS for years. Looks like he has the time now! I look forward to this future.

tried to do a low SL run of Dark Souls 2 in preperation myself but it just reminded me what a hollow experience it was compared to the first game. all previews of bloodborne are sounding good though, I am excited.

But MGS is such a seminal, classic series... I hope it doesn't disappear due to some konami/kojima licensing bullshit or something.
