Be forewarned: Titan Souls is a very, very short game - around 20 bosses (and that is all it is - a boss rush), but very challenging.

Looking forward to Shovel Knight on PS4 today!

I love it, but hate it at the same time.

¯\_(ツ)_/¯

My only gripe is open world pvp is awful if you're not a high level with huge amounts of funds for your armored cars and beefed up guns (Not to mention some mates to ride shotgun and shoot for you), so I just stick to passive mode most of the time.

If you roll up to people peacefully enough--or if they're aggressive anyway, let them shoot you dead once and not retaliate--often they'll just jump in your car or let you jump in theirs and you can ride around like that, an impromptu friend to shoot up cops with. I'm sort of surprised how friendly most other GTA players seem to be nowadays: back when it first started, only psychopaths seemed be on, shooting EVERYONE. Now, they're more likely to beep their horn and wait for you to get in.

The other day, a happened upon a bunch of people in fancy cars fucking around by the car mod place. They aimed their guns at me, but after I saluted for a while, making it clear I was but a peaceful felon, they did not shoot and I mucked around with them for a bit, firing flares at innocent people and cops. Then one of the dudes gave me a million bucks! Probably illegal cash, and maybe I'll be penalized for it down the line, but whatevs--free money! Good times

Shovel Knight - so good I bought it twice. The 3D version rules. DLC looks sweet.

oh yeah, most players are peaceful, but sort of frustrating trying to take on a rampaging player or two with my crappy rifle. I should probably try to interact with folks more in open world at least.

Stoked to watch OA II. The movement thing never bothered me, anyone familiar with Druidic studies will recognize the importance of movement to get to higher planes.

looking forward to shovel knight. will prob purchase tonite after work. still trying to get through the last two pro levels in olliolli2. game gets really fucking hard. 13 reverts in a level long combo then 9 grind switches and 9 reverts in a level long combo. it's the damn reverts into manual that keep throwing me off. can't seem to get it consistently

man i really hope there's like a run/dash upgrade in shovel knight. default horizontal movement is too slow. that's my only complaint so far tho. music in the first plains area was awesome

Finally completed Shovel Knight NG+. That boss rush was murder, yet in the end I somehow managed it with a troupple chalice to spare. Great game. Looking forward to the Plague Knight expansion.

Just bought this on PS4 last night, can't wait to dive in.

Also picked up Citizens of Earth and 1001 Spikes.

aww yesss. ex-wipeout team making new future racing game ala wipeout (like wipeout but different).

the second vid in the link explains what it's about. plus there's a cheeky shout out to aphex twin in namedropping which artists from the wipeout series they would like to have on board again. i dunno guys.. i love the wipeout series and was pretty gutted when their company closed. looking forward to seeing this game happen :)

no doubt. ff made a run through the thread a while back but glad to see the kickstarter is live ;O

but when was afx on a wo soundtrack?

ah no wonder. never played a portable one other than the one that launched with vita. this game looks sooooooooo much better since tdr got on board. a shame how far off the console releases are... i'll probably not really play it on pc

in the 2nd viddy on the kickstarter page, the guys talking about how the games gonna have an urban feeling and integrate the level design into the surroundings. the description sounds pretty spot on with the playstation vita one which has weird levels going through city parks and whatnot. there was something really different about the ship control and the unpredictable integrated level design didn't help at all. i'm hoping the vita wipeout was essentially a deviation of what made the games good and not a sign of the direction they want to continue to be exploring because i couldnt bring myself to play that one i found it so annoying.

uhh. negativity. i'm sure the new series will be tight :):) i have faith!!!!!!

i had a good bit of fun w/the vita wipeout. what bothered me the most were the extraordinarily long load times and the fact that it favored hifi graphics over 60 fps. finished a lot of the career but not all of it.

shovel knight is kind of fun so far but a little underwhelming due to all the hype. hopefully it'll grow on me a bit more. soundtrack is fantastic tho

yep! naks acid on wipeout pure, fenix funk 5 on wipeout pulse (both playstation portable wipeout games).

Tom Middleton also did a kickass track for that game.

i want to buy some dlc for wii u. not wii u games but snes ones or something.

thinking about getting shovel knight cause i've heard it's so great. also super metroid because i've never played that but it might be too hard for me. i mean i'm the type that i use walkthroughs when playing zelda. hmmm. what else?

Sounds like you're asking for adventurin' games but I was so happy to buy Super Mario Kart (SNES) on the Wii. Mein gott, how many times I could replay those courses and enjoy myself. Especially without those god damn blue shells.
