So after years of not playing any videogame at all, whether because of not feeling motivated enough or laziness, I decided to play some. Right now downloading Starcraft II. If my laptop handles it, I'll consider buying it.

 

I like games like RTS games, or stuff with deep, emotive storyline. Suggestions?

the idea of fallout 4 makes my panties wet.

also, just replayed dishonoured + dlc on my pc for a non-lethal playthrough, what a great game. i enjoyed it the first time just slaughtering everyone, but it was way more rewarding actually sneaking around. i ended up fucking up and accidentally killing 1 person so i didnt get the no kill achievement, but yeah. best stealth game ive played. cant wait for dishonoured 2

Lunar's last official status update was two months ago. Basically they're saying progress is going well and they're past the prototype phase. I think it's every four or five months they post their progress reports.

 

I think they've been working on Routine for four years now as a dev team of only three members. But I think they're taking the right approach overall by taking their time to do their best possible job.

Nah. Too soon. The NX system is still at LEAST 2 years away.

But they might just do an ULTRAHD-version when the NX system comes out.

already at $47x,xxx. will probably break $500k before i leave from work. surprised how little traction the forumla fusion kickstarter is gaining though and they already have so much more to show for their work.

recently watched this which given the timing of being recently uploaded, obviously times in nicely as upcoming promotion for the kickstarter.

funny watching the translator slip into tipsy territory throughout the vid.

Iwata comfirmed NX will not be shown til 2016. Zelda not shown til 2016, looks very sparce for Wii U owners this year. They have Mario Maker, New Kirby, and New Yoshi. All 2D games, that says something. WTF is Retro working on in Austin? It better be good.

On the subject of 2D metroidvania style games, has anyone played Guacamelee!? I enjoyed it immensely. The gameplay and design are top notch.

loved it on vita. about to play the "free" ps+ release w/all the dlc i never bought before.

lots of guac talk in here over the last week or so huh? it is a great game, and I actually love the music, but i'm a sucker for cheesy bombastic crap

I've started playing it too - I like all the nods to Mexican culture in the game so far.
