Picked Witcher 3 back up after not playing for many months. Just got to Skellige. This game is beautiful

The wind is something else.

Get blood and wine if you haven't played it, it's fantastic.

Some songs I made with my fingers and electronics. In the process of making some more. Hopefully.

yeah, definitely the best game ive played as an adult. such a memorable atmosphere to the world. its only real flaw was the levelling system, it didnt really make you feel any more powerful, and you couldnt really go back to tonnes of sidequests after getting 8 levels higher than them. i mean you could, but you just got no xp.

Every time someone mentions that game I feel like I should start over playing that game. But life gets in the way. Fuck you, life!

I'm STILL playing Persona 5 after all this time. It says I've racked up 150 hours, but the majority of that is just letting the game sit for hours on end. I started playing Berserk Musou, but stopped and kind of forgot I had it. I finally tried out Mercenary Kings and Furi, both pretty good but on the hard side. I would also like to get to Breath of the Wild, but I probably won't get to it before the end of the year. Gaming-wise, I still want to finish playing SMT IV: Apocalypse and start Final Fantasy XV (which I've had since it came out but haven't even opened), but I doubt I will. Chances are I will finally finish P5 in a couple of months and then Super Mario Odyssey will be out and I'll end up worshiping that one.

Of course, I have lots of important "adult" things that I need to do, so I may not play or finish anything :(

Finally got around to Superhot - Another great example of "quick fire perfection" games (no idea what else to call them, think Super Meat Boy and Hotline Miami). The "story" is good fun too, a bit of cyberpunk mindfuckery which I bet is even more disorientating with VR. I just wish it was longer and more challenging (haven't gotten round to the challenges/endless modes just yet).

Stoked to watch OA II. The movement thing never bothered me, anyone familiar with Druidic studies will recognize the importance of movement to get to higher planes.

It's fun. Saving up for a freighter and the updates have been good.

I bet it's a good podcast game.

Anyone looking for a proper, hard as nails twin stick shooter challenge should look no further than Nex Machina.

I've been playing since launch, and fuck me, this game forces you to be the best you can otherwise you get nowhere. Really enjoy building back up my skills and reflexes after all this time. Music and visuals are also great too.

That too. Very! And music listening. Edited by Friendly Foil

With NieR ranking as one of my favourite gaming experiences in a while, I am playing Yoko Taro's other games in order. This means I'm playing Drakengard on PS2. Oh boy, this is a step-down gameplay wise from Automata!

Got Mad Max, they got the tone from the films nailed and really enjoying it so far.

"They're about guns, lasers, robots with laser guns in space. Monsters from the future. Explosions. Sylvester Stallone doing a backflip on top of a spike while Robocop carries a ghost up a mountain. Bombs and swords and that... IDM is awesome."

@bechuga - have you played the original Nier? it's a wonderful and weird experience. just be prepared to encounter one of the worst quests in modern gaming (the fishing one. absolute nightmare).

Though if it's anything like the first NiNoKuni it'd be a good investment given how much that special edition leapt in price

I haven't eaten a Wagon Wheel since 07/11/07... ilovecubus.co.uk - 25ml of mp3 taken twice daily.

Is Studio Ghibli still involved in the sequel as they were in the first game?

Picked up Megaman Legacy Collection 2 and Sine Mora EX yesterday - I forgot how sluggish MM 7-8 felt compared to the 8-bit versions. Still, MM8 on PS1 is one of my favourite MM games (cringeworthy voice acting aside).

Sine Mora EX is one of my favourite shmups - tough as nails, and an interesting time manipulation mechanic, which makes the whole affair very intense. Visuals on PS4 are even more beautiful than the PS3 version, and owners of the Steam version of Sine Mora get EX for FREE.

Maybe once I finally beat Enter the Gungeon. I've only got to the 3rd boss after 30 hours of play. :P Bullet hell games aren't my strong point, but I keep playing it.
