Obsessed with Wipeout, not played it for almost 20 years.

I was playing Omega collection the other night. Hard but pretty.

I also started replaying Wipeout HD Fury last night, dusted off the old PS3 and continued the (almost finished) campaign where I left years ago.

Today as I was playing it occured to me that this really is my absolutely favorite video game of all time. I've played every version of it (except the Vita one), and I'm not ashamed to say that probably some of the best moments in my life involved getting high and playing Wipeout. Damn, I love that game, it just allows me to get in a flow state that is so serene. I really, really hope there'll be a new installment for PS5 eventually.

Have you tried it on psvr? It's mindbendingly awesome.

Don't have a VR headset, but maybe it would be worth getting one just for that purpose. I'm kinda loathe to still invest in the PS4 though when the PS5 is just around the corner.

I also have to admit I find the thought a little bit frightening. No issues with motion sickness?

None, but holding out for a new updated PS5 version is probably not a bad idea, the current kit is a bit janky, although it works flawlessly with Wipeout.

I like his enthusiasm, but the mini cabinet size looks like hand cramp trash.

I'm at the the point where you meet Joel's brother (in the Fall) and Ellie runs off and there are bandits attacking the power station and the house she runs off to in the woods.

Really enjoying the HDR lighting and 4K visuals on PS4 Pro.

been playing smash ultimate with my cousin the last couple of weeks. really wish they fixed the netcode for the online mode, it's so bad

Me too - I go through short bursts where I will play a few hours before going to bed, and then not touch a game for a week or longer.

Wouldn't surprise me. I've become wary of their integrity as a whole since they released Far Cry: New Dawn.

Maybe it's time for them to collapse, along with the other bloated giants like EA and Blizzard. As for Bethesda, they might still have a chance at redemption after the janky launch of Fallout 76.

Hello Games never cease to impress me. Players will be able to raid derelict freighters adrift in space in the next update.

I bought this^ and played for two hours in PSVR, very clunky controls and muddy visuals made me never go back, should probably give it a shot in 2D instead.

Grabbed Risk of Rain 1+2 on physical bc it’s only $18 and not bad so far, pretty much rinse and repeat, but it’s real perty to look at.
