Okidoki..

I made my decision to not to go for it.. I think it is little bit too nasty by Nintendo.  If It was a one time fee then ok but I hate subscription plans.
I have ordered a SNES controller for the PI there I can run all these Emulators for free and even transfer hacked ROM's.

I will only play Switch games on Switch and that is the main thing!
Donkey Kong:Tropical Freeze also looks very nice!

By the way: Anyone that had drift problems with the Joy-con on the Nintendo Switch?

Hope I will not encounter it but maybe there is a easy fix

Sadly yeah, I experienced drift roughly 3 years after buying the switch (and 3 years after buying new joy-cons). But it was a time when I was heavily playing the Switch, and especially games where the joysticks were heavily used (Super Meat Boy, stuff like that)

There is a workaround, online markets like Amazon sell joycon repair kits which are very cheap and are more than enough to fix the drift (my replacement stopped working after 8 months tho lol).

What a bad first experience with Nintendo E-shop:

I linked my Switch with the newly made Nintendo-Account and it just said "Sorry your country and region do not support Nintendo E-Shop"
Then I got just kicked back to the Home Screen. I mean wtf?
I can login and search thru games and everything on my computer but not from the Switch.

I changed my country to be in Hawaii now and I hope this will solve the problem but wtf really..

Just a side note:  contrary to smartphones Nintendo games are mostly cheaper when bought in physical form. Plus you can sell them again later if you do not like them and they will not take up space on the device. You can get them even cheaper on eBay

Yes you are right!

They don't have Super Mario 3D All-Stars anymore!
This news was hitting me bad right now: https://www.nintendo.com/whatsnew/super-mario-3d-all-stars-leaves-nintendo-eshop-on-march-31st/

I wanted to play Super Mario 64 but Nintendo takes it to the Dumpster? OMG!
Maybe I can find a physical copy but so disappointed. Why do like this? They really want you to go for that 50$ subscription plan

You can order US/UK/EU prepaid Nintendo points cards/codes on Amazon, I did that w/ my PS4 in the Middle East. You can also spoof your DNS with a VPN, that's how I got HULU to work overseas.

If you're looking for any retro NES games you can own and don't want to pay for online, there is a huge series called Arcade Archives, and a lot of the OG arcade versions of NES classics are on there a la carte:

I really should buy it for the switch sometime. I played it so long ago that I more or less completely forgot what it is about

You definitely should. There are so many different and fun story lines. The game is immersive without taking itself too seriously in my opinion. It doesn't play very well but I don't mind.

Just got it second hand today

Awesome I hope you enjoy it. As pieces of advice, make sure you decide what kind of weapons/armour you want to use early on because you can't reassign skill points so you need to put your eggs in one basket and be sure to do side/misc quests between the story ones they help you level up and make the game more manageable.

Switch Users!

If I have the physical version of a game, can I then download (If it's up on Nintendo Store) or transfer the game to internal storage or SD-Card?

no why should you? I would buy a case and have all the games with you all the time like this one:

Nintendo Switch Carrying Case & Screen Protector - The Legend of Zelda™: Tears of the Kingdom Edition 1

inside it looks like this:

Okey I just wanted to have it backed up.
Quake and Quake II costs like 50$-60$ to buy physical and 10$ each to download so there is some different prices out there.

I will look for some good games!

get a larger size micro SD card, I'd recommend at least 512gb since they are cheaper now.

The witness kicking my ass, I think I'll come back to it later.

Hmm... elder ring on sale, should I pull the trigger?

Never got too far into dark souls 3, and I didn't finish sekiro.

I think I'll wait for the next sale.

Thinking of getting and paying Alan Wake since I really liked the control cross over mission before Alan Wake 2 comes out.

ZOMG! Lazerz pew pew pew!!!!11!!1!!!!1!oneone!shift+one!~!!!

I beat Metroid Prime Remastered. It holds up except for some long re-do sections where you can't save. I started having flashbacks of Elden Ring the first few times the final boss kicked my ass. But didn't take near as many deaths to get through it.

Phantom Liberty is next for me.
