XI year old Autechre Album Released: Exai (WARP234)

why stop there?

After this I listened to geogaddi and I didn't like it, I was quite vomitting at some tracks, I realized they were too crazy for my ears, they took too much acid to play music I stupidly thought (cliché of psyché music) But I knew this album was a kind of big forest where I just wasn't able to go inside.

I was in US tjis summer, and eat in KFC. FUCK That's the worst thing i've ever eaten. The flesh simply doesn't cleave to the bones. Battery ferming. And then, foie gras is banned from NY state, because it's considered as ill-treat. IT'S NOT. KFC is tourist ill-treat. YOU POISONERS! Two hours after being to KFC, i stopped in a amsih little town barf all that KFC shit out. Nice work!

So i hope this woman is not like kfc chicken, otherwise she'll be pulled to pieces.

damn, i gotta come to sydney soon!

Well, I have enough credit with Virgin to cover a return flight to syd, so maybe in the next couple of months! Maybe I could time it so I get to see PVT twice. Especially if they're playing the oxford arts factory, that place is awesome.

i just met up with Ryan F. aka Xanopticon, and he's having Exai anticipation anxiety too. Everybody gets it guys, it's ok.

edit: he's told me that someone we both mutually know (who will remain unnamed) claims to have a soundboard recording of the Quaristice tour given personally to him by Sean. When i pressed this mutual friend about it he claimed he never said such a thing. Hmm....

seriously wtf. 777 has good sounds but doesn't go anywhere. Acroyear2 starts out like a spastic nerd dancing and then it morphs into deep deep soul brother funk...sublime

I love 777's beat.

Yes, acroyear is really too nerdy for me. That melody is just reminiscent of retarded happy gabber. I fail to see what is "sublime" in that track.

What's so LP5-ish about spl9 ?

i dont see the connection between that track and anything off LP5. To me it sounds like a much more frantic gritty version of one of their newer live set tracks, some similarity production/mixing wise to Quaristice. I really hope it's not like LP5. The untilted comparisons are quite welcome though.

edit: Untilted was the last album they did where the beat structures were very complex and shifting through out the song

It's better than the last two: dark, chaotic, jumbled. Every song is kind of its own universe

I know that wont make anybody happy as a description, but there it is. I've been a fan for ages and its my fave since Confield.

very promising quote!

must've dreamt it

Hey man, I think you need to cut down on the caffeine this leak thing is getting out of hand - sit down, relax and wait for the 40 days to fly by, all is good, make some fakes.

I haven't eaten a Wagon Wheel since 07/11/07... ilovecubus.co.uk - 25ml of mp3 taken twice daily.

" Last law bearing means that any reformer or Prophet will be a subordinate of the Holy Prophet (saw) and no new Messenger and Prophet with a new religion, book or decree will come after him. Everything from him will be under the banner of Islam only."

Ok, ok... So lemme get this straight.... It has delayed melodies like LP5, mini universes like Confield, beat fuckery like Untilted, murkiness like Quaristice, and stateliness of Oversteps (not sure what that means really). What about Draft?

Anyways, here's what I really want to know... Is the song structure jammy (directionless?) like Quaristice (I sort of remember Rob saying it was recorded straight first and edited later), OR does it sound like Unitlted or Oversteps where they have more form (songs?) and sound like they were deliberately composed on a computer?
