Both tracks are excellent. Anyone thinking otherwise is just wrong.

This. Great post.

I really like how autechre tweaked the track to make it kick in like that at 37:11

come on, we've all been there

not to be a huge downer or anything but it makes me wonder if these are the 'best' tracks from the album and that's why they were chosen for radio play, while they are good tracks they aren't blowing my mind as much as the stuff i remember coming out early for Quaristice. I remember Simm being one of the earliest tracks from Quaristice to leak, and it's definitely one of the album's highlights, while great tracks like the Plc and Chenc9 were never broadcast before it came out.

edit: but at the same time 'see on see' was the first track from Oversteps to leak and imo it's one of the least interesting from the album

can't we all just wait until it's released?

considering the track record, it's likely gonna come a month early anyways.

then again, it could be delayed. they might be reading this thread and decide that a reference to watmm on the jap release was not enough, they have to wind you lot all up.

methinks tuinorizn could've been the most 'agreeable' track for the mix, as it blends pretty well w/the preceding and succeeding tracks. there are probably many less 'palatable' tracks on the album.

Yeah, and ilanders. I think, in retrospect, ilanders gave a good summary of the vibe of the album, but wasn't by any means my personal favorite.

I'm hearing a lot of Oversteps in tuinorizn and I like that. It's a neat track.

I love all of Autechre's opening tracks on all their albums, so I'm really looking forward to FLeure.

tuinorizn is like Untitled programming with Oversteps drums and Quaristice synths in the bg. Quite good, I'd say.

Just got to hear this... pretty short track but I really like it! Was sad when it was over... I need 2 more hours of this! :music:

I have it on good authority that the tracks on Exai are remixes of Sean and Rob's favorite 17 tracks from Drukqs.

After this I listened to geogaddi and I didn't like it, I was quite vomitting at some tracks, I realized they were too crazy for my ears, they took too much acid to play music I stupidly thought (cliché of psyché music) But I knew this album was a kind of big forest where I just wasn't able to go inside.

- lost cloud

I was in US tjis summer, and eat in KFC. FUCK That's the worst thing i've ever eaten. The flesh simply doesn't cleave to the bones. Battery ferming. And then, foie gras is banned from NY state, because it's considered as ill-treat. IT'S NOT. KFC is tourist ill-treat. YOU POISONERS! Two hours after being to KFC, i stopped in a amsih little town barf all that KFC shit out. Nice work!

So i hope this woman is not like kfc chicken, otherwise she'll be pulled to pieces.

Have Autechre ever had bad quality control? Is there a single Autechre album in memory that you could pick two tracks off of that are good and the rest are crap? If you answered yes to either of these questions, you aren't an Autechre fan we have opinions that differ greatly.
