Or it could be more meaningless tDR artwork..

Pffft, what's the fun in that? Let's indulge in some good old-fashioned constellational obsessiveness!

I feel generally uninterested with the art at the moment. But for most albums the artwork tends to match the music pretty closely (prime example for me is Chiastic Slide), so I'm confident I'll grow to like it once I stare at it along to the music. Earlier I saw a face half-in-shadow in the center and now I'm starting to see it automatically.

I've been listening to Ae for a few years but only became a "fan" a couple years ago. This is my first pre-Ae-album anticipation. Has anyone else had the experience of disregarding the art and then "getting it" once you hear the album?

The album cover is telling you that this will sound like LP5 if LP5 was invaded by black squares instead of a white sticky label.

When I heard the wonderful news that there was going to be a new album, I saw a bowl of crisps in your eyes.

I like the cover

" Last law bearing means that any reformer or Prophet will be a subordinate of the Holy Prophet (saw) and no new Messenger and Prophet with a new religion, book or decree will come after him. Everything from him will be under the banner of Islam only."

what's crazy is that someone actually paid TDR to make that, i wonder how many revisions took place before the final one was decided on. 2xcd AE album is quite awesome though, i wonder if this will be more sketchy and up front like Quaristice. EVen though it's not a perfect album by AE standards, i'd rather have something less focused and a little un-cut sounding. Oversteps was too laser focused for me, need more ADD AE!

and to whoever asked for the Gantz Graf fart machine, couldn't have said it better myself. AE were the king of digital farts, and Tankraken was the last time we heard them let out a massive squelcher. more farts plz, thx

I have more random characters to post. There's actually more to each of these but

Starting from top to bottom. Not doing any fancy math, just reading in the bits as-is and offsetting them like psn did.

Only interesting thing I noticed was the word "soulchga" in the top-down 5 bits pass.

Also Python is breedy cool. I tried to get PHP to work on windows and then I remember that PHP is dumb anyway.

I agree that the main cover image isn't much to go crazy over, but the rest of the design (by this I mean everything from the other pixel art pieces to the typesetting and even the choice of stock) is pretty damn amazing, imo. Compare the Oversteps/MoT digital art to the vinyl versions and you'll see what I'm talking about.

It's all still very far fetched, but I corrected a bug in the rotation code and found a weird one:

1-+J-1AEBGMANY74DG%/%A

AE Britain Great Manchester 74 Max?!?!

Three more containing AE:

LMMPAZAE+Y0*UNZ66EN1NN
5FAA7P-65A/AEJ5MLYL/0J
SQQK9M8AF2/OFPHRCAEN+1

Here are two funny strings one modulo apart, from a run with inverted bits and 90 degrees rotation:

A%HFFX2K1IZOX05U:II JO
B*IGGY3L2J PY16V0JJ$KP

AFX 2K and Biggie!
