Killing Season

John Travolta doing a thick Serbian accent/10

Didn't buy Travolta as a Serbian soldier, which the movie hinged on. Still would have been a thin movie if I had.

A Gang Story

A lot of people being shot/10

i feel guilty for finishing both of them

Watched The World's End yesterday. It was pretty good. Not as good as Shaun of the Dead or Hot Fuzz. I did not like Simon Pegg, but Nick Frost and the rest of the gang were all great.

well he meant to be unlikeable in the world's end.

whilst I take your point - I think you could argue that it was lindelhof's fault. most likely I guess is a combination.

but then some people do like the counsellor so maybe it is exactly what they wanted it to be

The Wages of Fear

Preeetty cool - takes a while to get going, but once it does its great - loveable, and love to hate'able characters, nail biting scenes, great sound design - a classic not to be missed

FIN/10

The-Wages-of-Fear.jpg

prisoners - felt like those countless thriller/quest video games but with really good cinematography. don't even know why i watched it because i hated this guy's incendies as well. it's all so overwrought and contrived.

nah its the directors fault to make movies with shitty scripts i meant . I dunno who liked the counselor did you watch it ? would definetly be interested to watch it again when it comes out on piratebay.....uhh i mean dvd just for the sheer wtf-ery of it. but nah it was really bad whoevers fault it was

The_Wild_and_Wonderful_Whites_of_West_Vi

i believe everyone should watch this documentary- especially if you've never seen this documentary- if anything, just because you'd never believe people like this still exist. it does get a little repetitive after a while, only because their lifestyle is all about going nowhere but the complete bottom of the barrell (and that's if you consider the top being a guest on the jerry springer show)

Femme Fatale

Pretty good! DePalma is as stylish as always, it all absolutely zips along, entertaining the whole way - some really nice camera work and editing tricks - felt like it could have been written by Pedro Almodavar at times, which is always a great thing - pity it falls apart towards the end...also Rebecca Romijn is just too fucking hot

Drunken Angel. I fell in love with all of this. 10/10.

Some songs I made with my fingers and electronics. In the process of making some more. Hopefully.

Hachiko - The Akita in this movie was so sad it broke my heart. Nothing else about this movie stood out.

this has been a favorite of mine for a while. as a sleazy b-movie, it's perfect. the opening scene is classic: valentine demy's boyfriend pleads with her not to betray him as she goes off to richmond virginia to enroll in dance school. the rest of the movie is pretty much how she fucks and falls in love with the first guy that stalks her at a bowling alley. obviously she must've not given two shits about that lunkhead boyfriend. it's also got a random appearance from gay porn movie dude jeff stryker as.. a guy in the dance class.

but some of my favorite scenes are the dance sequences like this bit of perfection right here

Room 237 - 4.5/10 - Abuses its position to spread a falsified and absurd image of film analysis to the masses. Utter shit.

Chasing Amy (rewatch) - 7.5/10 - Pretty perfect at what it sets out to do. Tears the modern media rom-com/love story to shreds, and builds interesting relationships on top of the pile. Its like a shit buddy comedy that slowly realizes whats wrong with itself over the course of the runtime and brings up a bunch of unique questions about sexuality and emotion.

spent most of the film trying to work out who this guy looks like:

finally realized it's a combination of steve o

and this dude from game of thrones

movie was poop, although i laughed at stanley tucci looking like tim and eric on jimmy kimmel

lol yeah this guy ... well I can't really say anything solid about the quality of Hunger Games 2 (or, as it's called in Germany: Die Tribute von Panem 2 - wtf...) as I didn't see it in a sober state, but like the first one, the part before the actual Hunger Games begin is kinda neat with all the media parody and stuff going on, but then it turns into more of an action adventure flick for teens.

As Expected / 10

Oh and I saw Escape from Tomorrow

Escape_From_Tomorrow_poster.jpg

That movie that was shot at Disney Land without knowledge or permission of Disney.

It took me four attempts to finally reach the ending, I always feel asleep, but not out of boredom, more like I was fleeing the horrible family. The film's kind of terrifying. It gets a bit too ridiculous though. All in all it's like a very long dream or something. I don't know what to make of it.

King of New York 8/10 - Abel Ferrara has amazing moments and many of them are in this film. Amazing acting. Christopher Walken dancing and killing and being evil. Love this film. Abel knows how to shoot NYC. SO slimy. SO nasty. The way NYC should be portrayed.

Can't wait for the uncut re-release of "Ms 45". Hopefully we get to see Zoe Lund's naked body! Yay!

Screen-Shot-2011-12-11-at-17.18.51.png

Abel Ferrara's best film i think is Bad Lieutenant, it's a pretty depressing movie but I think it's a lot better than the nic cage remake.
