Cube 2: Hypercube

Finally got around to watching this. Pretty much as enjoyable as Cube actually.. but with vaporwave shiz. Strange to see very brightly lit corpses in a movie.

I can recommend Cube Zero also. Slightly more headf**k than the others, decent scifi and the original premise is so good that they could film the whole film in one cube where nothing happens and I'd still like it. Reminds me of those 80s science fiction films that just went for it regardless of budget (Dark side of the Moon, Retribution, anything by Stuart Gordon)

Saw Legend yesterday. A bit too long and had a few pacing issues but overall v good. Tom Hardy needs to take some time off camera though, I'm a bit tired of seeing his face in every other film I watch.

Raging Bull - just a classic, can't say much more, classic movie

Idiocracy - it was OK, good a bunch of belly laughs out of me, didn't got as repetitive as I thought it would (cause it's only an hour and 20 mins long), pretty good time waster overall

Friend recommended this Jim Carrey film (for high-watching). Haven't seen this since Thanksgiving break 1995... And holy shit, this is a masterpiece. It is extremely well shot, performed; all around great execution. For what it is, it's solid (high or not). 9.6/10

The legend of Rocky Dennis and his super powers; fighting crime and saving the girl. Slapstick zaniness and explosion packed comic book action. Starring Jim Carrey, Cher, and Jackie Chan. 1/10

well, this was really quite good. if you haven't seen it i'd recommend going into it blind (i.e. don't watch the trailer). it's also got a very interesting soundtrack that's all ambient music.

I recommend this too, one for the horror fans.

"They're about guns, lasers, robots with laser guns in space. Monsters from the future. Explosions. Sylvester Stallone doing a backflip on top of a spike while Robocop carries a ghost up a mountain. Bombs and swords and that... IDM is awesome."

The Imitation Game

Awful shite, riddled with historical inaccuries and transparently manipulative dramatic cliches. Turned it off with 40mins left to watch.

Yes, wouldn't recommend it. Absolute bollocks. It's Mann's worst film by far. Terrible.

Even the shoot outs are a bust, messy as fuck and shot with what looks like a first gen gopro.

Sorry, the first big shoot out. The rest are ok. Yes, there are several shoot outs in exotic locales in this thriller about hacking.

yikes, yeah his switch to digital seems like a major mistake. I haven't seen anyone aside from budget shitheads like James Wan that have maximized that effect.

This was pretty awful. Dull, nasty and unfulfilling in every way. Tired of these smart slick, soulless horrors that while ticking alot of the boxes (looks good, good sound etc. not bad acting) are just ultimately so dull and forgettable.

Saw Possession (1981) for the first time a couple of weeks ago. Couldn't believe I hadn't seen this before. 10/10. best film i've seen in years. Will have to see 'On The Silver Globe' next.

it has that device Under The Skin uses, where just as your natural male-sexual interest is tickled...........wham

I finally got some balls to watch Citizen Kane, and yeah, it is a really good film.

At first I thought it would be a boring, political film, despite being considered the best ever made. Butt, holy shit, it was truly entertaining. I even thought I was watching a modern film but in b&w.

Overall I think it is a great movie. It is not in my "fav" films ever because I like other types of films (mainly porn), but I'd totally recommend it.

10/10

It's a shame you don't want to carry on arguing mdm, was interesting. Maybe you don't think so

I'm not very good at extensive argument as I burn out too fast. Plus I have too short a concentration span.
