Silent Member
oh right, the ending was pretty lame. If the effects weren't syfy channel terrible, maybe I would've let it slide. Guest
this was the worst movie I can remember seeing in recent years... it was so sincere with the things, but then tried to be "funny" also? caze
The Martian was great. Nice to have a proper science focused film for a change, hollywood so rarely makes an effort or even attempts to get anything right. dr lopez
drive - i fucking love this movie. follows the great verhoeven tradition of cinematic trolling - on screen and behind the camera. let's make a trashy LA car flick with the pacing and terseness of ozu. i'm actually amazed this was ever made and i'm even more amazed it works and holds up to repeated views. perlman and brooks steal the troll show. auxien
I watches Solomon Kane a few nights ago, it was actually pretty good for what it was. usagi
Eye In The Sky. this movie has its heart in the right place and it's interesting watching drone warfare unfold compared to conventional war movies (I'm in no position to say how realistic it may or may not be). overall though it's a bit too on-the-nose and self-limiting in what it has to say. I liked it still.
