The bird in my avatar is a character in a game I'm currently developing.

I made this one for a local folkloresque contest. Not too excited by it.

Instantly reminder of Vermeer.

Her right arm ( left for the viewer) looks a bit out of place. My personal excitement grows if i cover up that arm. Silly?

Fluffy fabric. I guess I should have enhanced the shape of her left arm as well then...

That face has plenty character though. You painted someone with their thoughts! Muchos appreciations for that!

Definitely, cause the process isn't even mine. Alex Griendling (artist for Google) wrote a killer how-to-pixel blog and I just followed the steps and made these in illustrator. Really fun if you do it the way he suggests because then you can easily move the pixels around with just the keyboard and copy/paste and go a long stretch without needing your mouse or trackpad so it kinda feels like a video game.
