I guess maybe they're more drone-y than your stuff, and possibly more "organic." I still think it's appropriate to say that your stuff is similar because I enjoy it as much as TQTR's stuff. I gave untitled a listen yesterday and really enjoyed it. It's what I imagine Zoviet France would have sounded like if they played around with machines instead of ethnic instruments. They use delay and loops to similar effect, and I wouldn't be surprised if they used a lot of the same equipment. Anyway, very cool stuff, definitely something I'll be going back to in the future. Zephyr_Nova
Anyone here speak Italian? Looks like it got another really positive review: http://dundundudu.bl...l-machines.html Here's the amusing freetranslation.com version: Reveal hidden contents Nyarlathotep yaaay. Ok, to part cthulhu, this album is an attractive and good grenade. The stylistic base is that of those boxes harsh/wall that depopulate on bandcamp from a couple of anni to this part and that you are formed, usually, from two side, both that turn around the dozen of minutes and that compongono a sole long suite noise. The difference between the above-mentioned album (moreover very agreeable to the signed) and Infernal Machines, is, beyond that in the slightly more catchy than attitude wraps every track (for charity, is not that I am yourselves proponendo the rolling stones, is that simply this album is not so aggressive like some suite wall stretch out to be), I said, beyond in the slightly more catchy attitude, in the same structure of the album, there is something of weird. How did I say first, of habit the album ambient/noise etc., go before two pieces to the time. The structure of this album is that of an album "pop", even if the songs I am several being at a distance from the conception shared of pop music. Ten pieces, with a media of about 5 minutes fall. It is a lot simpler to listen to Infernal machines that a whatever other album experimental noise. For certainties verses, it is also more attractive. There it is plus differentiation, every piece has an its violent identity, there is not plus nothing of ethereal, and I find that this absence is a pride for the music noise. There is not more nothing of uncertain, uncertain, shaky. This now of experimental music it is strong. QVESTO ALBVM IS THE albvm OF THE GIOVENTV' Italian No, I joke. If the experiments harsh and wall noise I am somehow a sort of extreme sperimentalismo, alone end to if same, this Infernal machines can be seen like a first outline of LP "ascoltabile" diverting from a tradition iperspecialistica and of listening seeds-impossible. What we waited for for some time, well. What I waited for for some time. Even if it a revolution is about to begin noise, and the work of Cthulhu detonator is of it a small messenger, the edge quivering some ink blot. Even if in the turn of an I annex it someone will arrive that it will sweep via all the music frocia, for the honor and the fervor of björko god. But even if also no. But we hope of yes. Less badly that a man can dream. (It have seen it the installment of futurama with the long thing? Here.) In the meanwhile, you enjoyed this small masterpiece, herald of the noises, that I did not do in time to descrivervi decently in the ardor of to announce the revoluciòn. Thanks. modey
Google Translate was better: Ok, apart from cthulhu, this album is a grenade beautiful and good. The basic style is one of those boxes harsh / wall that depopulated on Bandcamp for a couple of years now and they are formed, usually, two side, both of which revolve around the dozen or so minutes that make up a single long suite noise. The difference between the above album (which is very pleasing to me) and Infernal Machines, is not only the attitude slightly more catchy that surrounds each track (for charity, it's not that I'm suggesting the rolling stones, is that you simply quest ' album is not as aggressive as some suites wall tend to be), I said, slightly more catchy than the attitude, in the very structure of the album, there is something strange. As I said before, usually Albums ambient / noise etc., Go on to two tracks at a time. The structure of this album is an album, "pop", even if the songs are quite distant from the shared conception of pop music. Ten songs, with an average fall of about 5 minutes. It is much easier to listen Infernal machines that any other experimental noise album. In some ways, it is even more beautiful. There is more differentiation, each piece has its own identity violent, there is nothing ethereal, and I find that this failure is a credit to noise music. There is nothing uncertain, random, lame. This hour of experimental music is very strong. QVESTO ALBVM IS THE ALBVM GIOVENTV 'ITALIAN No joke. If the experiments and harsh noise wall is somehow a kind of experimentalism extreme end only to himself, this Infernal machines can be seen as a first draft of LP "listenable" derived from a tradition of listening iperspecialistica and semi-impossible. What I have been waiting for, in fact. What I was expecting for some time. Maybe going to start a revolution noise, and the work of Cthulhu detonator it is a tiny messenger, the edge flickering ink stain. Maybe within a year or so someone will come along that will sweep away all the music queer, for the honor and the ardor of Björkö god. But maybe not. But let's hope so. Good thing a man can dream. (Have you seen the episode of futurama with long tool? Here.) In the meantime, enjoy this little masterpiece, herald of the noise, which I have not had time to describe decently in the rush to announce the Revolution. Thank you. Zephyr_Nova
Weirdly enough I got the Robert Fripp comparison about my guitar playing years ago too, although I only became familiar with some of his work with King Crimson in the last couple years. I should probably check out more of his stuff. The other comparisons I'm not really familiar with, with the exception of BOC (though I'm not a fan).
