plenty of good minimalism out there in watches of course. your first choice reminds me of nomos. not a fan of slim bezels myself, as they're common in fashion watches. the shinola reminds me of pilots watches; i like several makers of such styles.

i will add, the watch i want i can't get to - i'm in england and can't fly there. i have a few friends in japan, but the knowledge and money make it impossible to hand over buying it.

In this account there's some pics of 20 years ago, when all the indie scene was popular: the ipod, myspace, msn messenger, sms, etc. Those days were kinda strange, remember wearing my grandpa broken sweater, cropped and painted jeans, socks that didn't match.. I didn't realize it but seems more like an idgaf tendency about clothes. Is interesting to observe how we don't wear now what we wore on our youth, so just take care of your clothes and try to extend the useful life of it.
