i think you most definitely should.

the title track is the first track and it's a proper bowie to the jaw.

let your sweatpants boner ride high on your decrepit middle-aged crotch, my son.

my missus really likes 'smalltown girl''boss of me', but you'll figure out why soon enough.

something that a friend pointed out on facebook... it's very much traditional song structures. the songs have a beginning, middle, and end. they more often than not have verses, choruses, and middle 8s. it's nice to hear bowie do that for the first time in ages.

album of the year so far for me.

for reals?

so far yes. it creeped up on me too, i didnt love the preview tracks that much. but i notice i have starred the first half of the album (in spotify).

Let me start with saying, I'm a HUGE Bowie fan. You could say, at times, obsessive. I haven't listened, in depth, to the majority of the stuff he's put out since Earthling.

I had heard a lot if talk, other than in here, of how awesome this release was.

I've listened to a few songs (the first 3-4) from this, but not the whole album.

I think it sounds good, but I'm not really sold on it.

I kinda feel that because people really want a another great album from the man, they are psyching themselves up a bit too much for this.

To me, it sounds like a mid-to-late-80s-era Bowie album with a VERY old and tired Bowie singing some very pretentious lyrics.

Hey. At least we have the old LPs, right?

Cocaine is a helluva drug.
