Here Is What Happens When You Cast Lindsay Lohan in Your Movie

That part when the bottle almost felt to the floor but she grabbed it mid-air, wosh! i thought i was watching spider-wowan there for a second.

That article really was great, and I'm glad I took the time to read it, Lindsey really is a fuckin' trainwreck, and this article so perfectly articulated that. This movie sounds and looks like it will be pure shit, but the article that describes just how much of a hassle it was to make just to end up this shitty looking makes me curious to see how awful it actually is.

Also, god damn she used to be fucking gorgeous, that vanity fair shot definitely is wank-worthy. Now she looks more beat than a 35 year old day-shift stripper.

I'm not about to deny that she can act, but the article makes it clear that she doesn't take her craft as seriously as someone whose career is splattered with childish behavior. If she started behaving professionally, a lot more people would start taking her seriously.

well, that's also a shame, because there are a lot of people who behave professionally but aren't given a chance because everyone is waiting for lindsay lohan to finally get her shit together.

tbh- this is typical hollywood behavior taken to an extreme nadir. a lot of films come with this kind of drama- not to mention the frustration of fulfilling contracts. during the making of 'no country for old men' for example, scott rudin fired everyone who wasn't above the line simply to make a point that he didn't want anyone slacking around or not bringing 110%. it was a shitty way to do it considering many people depended on that gig for money, but the film won a bunch of oscars

Pope and Deen have said it was mostly smooth sailing and that the article while not wildly inaccurate was sensationalist and biased to say the least. Ellis hasn't commented AFAIK. The only one who sort of threw her under the bus was Schrader. But none of them are outright denying anything, maybe because this story is the most exposure their microbudget film has had so far.

Having followed the filming more or less closely via Twitter and Facebook some of it doesn't add up. Like her spending $ 600 of the film's budget on food, when there were tweets at the time thanking her because she bought everyone lunch. Little things like that, or how the author seems to have been privy to some particularly intimate moments. But whatever. I guess that I just want to say that for all her faults there's also the simple fact that trashing Lindsay is big business and has been for a long time, and these guys are foolishly letting it happen for the sake of promoting their movie which is going to end up being panned anyway.

Hey, weren't you the one who was so deep into the Lindsay Lohan rabbit hole when she went to jail in 2010? I still feel the love, LOL. The WATMMer's WATMMer. :flower:

this film, if anything, will make a star of james deen, far more than sasha grey's wooden, tryhard efforts. he seems to be part of a new wave of porn people along with stoya (look to the left) - he's maybe the only non-creepy male performer i know in porn, and he has a massive female following. he seems to love his job, he's attractive, very articulate, and seems to... inspire genuine reactions in his co-performers. interesting fella.

Rudin's attitude towards making a great film is something missing of late, imo.

I just read that reddit ama, not sure if he's creepy or not (he strikes me as a tad Patrick Bateman), but this quote from the ama was creepy:

Q: i want to sleep with you. can i sleep with you?

A: sure but you're gonna get cuddled really hard

After this I listened to geogaddi and I didn't like it, I was quite vomitting at some tracks, I realized they were too crazy for my ears, they took too much acid to play music I stupidly thought (cliché of psyché music) But I knew this album was a kind of big forest where I just wasn't able to go inside.

- lost cloud

I was in US tjis summer, and eat in KFC. FUCK That's the worst thing i've ever eaten. The flesh simply doesn't cleave to the bones. Battery ferming. And then, foie gras is banned from NY state, because it's considered as ill-treat. IT'S NOT. KFC is tourist ill-treat. YOU POISONERS! Two hours after being to KFC, i stopped in a amsih little town barf all that KFC shit out. Nice work!

So i hope this woman is not like kfc chicken, otherwise she'll be pulled to pieces.

-organized confused project

I agree lumpy, It's been a while but I remember reading through that AMA, the one thing that struck me is that despite being dubbed as "sensitive" and "professional", that there seems to be this very strong sense of detachment from him. I don't remember the exact quote but somewhere in there he said something along the lines of "whoever I'm doing a scene with during those hours we're shooting they are the love of my life"... But even that just seemed like I guy who was just overly used to "going through the motions." The other answers just gave of this cold vibe of detachment and lonliness. Perhaps a little Bateman is exactly what it is, whatever it is I'm sure the guy has quite a few inner demons.

yeah the quote was something like "do you feel a difference between having sex with a stranger or with someone you love?" and I believe the answer was "no". Which I would take as a big warning to any girl who might think she was being "loved" by him.

Re: being damaged, speaking personally as a guy who has been there and back (not as a porn star but as a big slut and for lack of a better term 'sex addict'), I think it is entirely possible for Mr. Deen to get married at some later date, settle down, and have a 'normal' life. I had a very distinct moment of burnout (which basically coincided with high blood pressure) after which my sex drive nosedived to only being interested about once every two weeks or even month. Kind of funny. I have girls I used to sleep with instant messaging me almost every day but I just ignore them. Am happily married (more or less) with a kid on the way, and feel entirely ordinary.

In any case, it seems to be a lot easier for guys to re-adapt, than for women (same can be said for the aging process)

Edit: I really wonder why someone like Ron Jeremy never settled down...did he? He's a funny, smart guy, seemingly (read his autobio).

I love his work.

Mainly the stuff with Kink.

And thanks for sharing this article. I will not be casting Lindsay Lohan in my next film.

I think I dodged a bullet on this one.

i'm sure there's a huuuuuuge difference between the burnout you say you had and the burnout of a porn guy paid to fuck thousands of women in the ass. i think this kind of burnout could be irreparable.

anyway, this part seems like it would really fit a burnt out porn guy so i don't know if we'll be able to tell whether he's any good as a proper actor or not. he looked convincing enough in the trailer if i remember rightly.

Don't think she sounds that bad tbh, aside from a bit of flakiness and entitlement - this is what I imagine all Hollywood types to be like. I'm all for a vicious hitpiece from time to time, but I don't think this really reaches that level.

Instead of insisting James Deen is a legit actor, just reshuffle the whole thing into Lindsay's first pron film, it will make shitloads more that way.
