Yeah... people seem to be confusing what the Tuss sounded like with what they think the Tuss sounds like based on all the stuff they've claimed sounds like the Tuss over the last few years.

Okay, I was wrong about Monolith and I'm willing to admit it. That's cool, and I think more highly of him for it, because this adds a certain degree of depth to his discography (although it's all still 100% synth oriented...)

It's strange to me that Fig 03 could be him, because while I can hear elements of similarity, Fig 03 instantly struck a chord with me, and his stuff as Monolith always seemed super flat and did nothing for me. I am usually very good at identifying an artist's style with close listening too. honestly I guess the main thing that was keeping me from hearing that they're the same person is that Welcome was so damn nerdy, and Fig 03 is really laid back and musical

not to say that it's not possible there was a collaborator on that too

if Dave Monolith has taken credit for Fig 4, it's by far the best thing he's done yet( haven't heard all the previous photodimentia stuff though).

I'm waiting for the CD comp to come out, so I've only listened to the youtube version of the tracks, but so far I have to agree with those who are saying this release has less personality than fig 03.

I also intend to purchase this compact disc.

Just had my first listen on vinyl and I'm a bit dissapointed, a bit boring sometimes, especially the A side. D's Groove is the absolute highlight of the album, rest of the b-side is also pretty good. Not an insta-classic like fig. 3.
