if Basscad is excluded from being classed as an EP because it is literally just remixes of the track Basscadet, then what does that do to the legitimacy of Quaristice.Quadrange.ep.ae as an EP?

Well I took that spreadsheet someone did for Exai and put in the cells from the image. I changed the max of the horizontal values to 512 since it's 10x11. Didn't get any interesting numbers though.

RandySiko & Vilwx I dont get what did you do with those binary cells, what does that show?

Whoever has the font that was used on all the rest of the packaging could probably check for himself http://www.fontshop.com/fonts/singles/fontfont/ff_threesix_21_pro_072_regular/.

This is just another typeface but I'm guessing this is pretty much how they did the cover, no special meaning, other than that it's just letters, as Rulohead32 pointed out already:

Peel Session stuff isn't regarded as EPs, but for some reason their catalogue number says so.

lesson learned by me - don't take catalogue numbers as gospel.

I agree with others who say that the artwork isn't for an EP, since the actual album hasn't even been physically released yet.

Basically just seeing if the cells represent a binary number that could mean something. Binary system is base 2, so each digit is the previous digit doubled: 1 2 4 8 16...

This one adds up cells in a row, increasing from left to right. Then the numbers from each row are added together and we get 13034, or the release date 4 March 2013. I think it's intentional and it makes sense to look for something like that in the new pic.

RE: the EP catalog numbers:

It's possible they chose not to consider Cavity Job since they kinda shat on it, or Basscadet since it's a collection of remixes and not original music. Although they were all on the EP compilation, so maybe they'ce changed their minds since EP7.
