That was one epic listening experience. I couldn't handle it anymore after 7 hours and 30 minutes of non stop listening. Had fun with the chat as well, fucking stickers everywhere.

had so much fun last night dropping in and out of the mix, jamming to it with friends. we even had a stoned opera singer as a guest singing along. left a 10 minutes or so before the end, my laptop is still at the studio recording silence lol.

Yeah unless they provide a download link (which I doubt) as that's what it was streamed at it's the best we can get. That won't stop some idiot transcoding it to 320kbps or flac though!

I went with mine because it's the entire direct stream from start to finish - I managed to grab the rtmp link before any audio started up, so everything was recorded. Edited start of the mp3 to begin exactly from the point the audio kicks in.

If you want to split it for whatever reason there's a great program I use that splits the mp3 without transcoding, you just set the in and out points (like when making a gapless CD in Nero) and hit split and it does its thing - http://mp3splt.sourceforge.net/mp3splt_page/home.php

You could even load it into ableton and split it couldn't you?

From the Oversteps broadcast I have a .cue and .m3u file next to the mp3 of it, so when I play it in foobar or winamp, I can see the broadcast being made into a playlist with every track, while it is still one mp3 file. If someone manages to do that again to these sets, that'll be greaaat, thaaanks.

I'll be recording again, and rubbing shoulders with the VIP elite in chatmm. Might duck out a bit sooner than last night though (early start tomorrow).

i feel ya. i was at it for about 6.5hrs but after losing my VIP position in chatmm i just gave up. i had a blast though, that was a graet time!

Thanks for recording, jason. I caught about 3 hours of this yesterday, off and on. Will give the whole thing a listen on Monday.
