First, lovely premise, is the Rhodesesque loop a sample or did you play that yourself? Smooth. Second, I got a little bored after a minute. There was no evolution or enough variety in layering for me to enjoy it past 90 seconds. Third, @ :42, the off-beat resonant snarish thing gets too off beat. I like polyrhythms but it just sounds too off. Quantize that Ish. Last, whilemi understand the desire for feedback, I would recommend commenting on other pieces a bit before just putting your stuff out there. It's a bit selfish to only put your music in a forum without contributing. It will also give you an idea of other people's styles and how to interpret their feedback.

I played everything myself and don't get your panties in a bundle, I'm currently listening to other songs and commenting..

everything is quantized fyo, good music needs to have a lag quality I think to make it sound more organic, that's what's missing in much electronic music today. the reason it sounds off is cuz of the pitch adjustments and the drum layering.

If you don't want feedback, don't post.

I'm with gNat here. First track is a bit too loose sounding

Sounds are pretty nice though.

Oh an OP.. calm down

Nice sound design and impressively fluid drum programming on the first track, and while it creates a strong sustained mood, about halfway through I was hankering after some sort of evolution (melodic, rhythmic, textural) that would take it in a new direction. Even though that didn't materialise, this is well-produced stuff nonetheless.

Night owls is pretty good, and probably my favourite of the two you've posted - you might want to take another look at the reverb used on the piano, it comes across as quite shrill in my headphones (could be a compression issue?).
