stupid first world achievements and successes

I started drinking fizzy water once in order to ween myself off fizzy drinks as it seems I'm dependent on them.

That was over a year ago, I need to get on that shit again.

My teeth and kidneys will thank me.

In a meeting earlier this week, I'm told that my entire department is entering into consultation, and several redundancies are being made within the next month or so.

In a meeting today, I'm told that I've got a 9% pay rise.

Cheers guvnor. I was on the verge of putting it in FWP, but this pay rise news came right out of nowhere and skewed it into FWA. It's been a very strange working week, firstly being told that my job is at risk, then getting a cash monies increase. Sick times.

For the last week or so, I've managed to limit my daily internet use to less than ten minutes or so. I had to check my e-mail and stuff after all. Other than that, it was pretty enjoyable. Will try again.
