It's hilarious to think of BoC being talked about and listened to more openly in the society. Like, imagine people playing Everything you do is a Balloon/Down Chorus/Tears of the Compound eye on speakers full volume at school and such, it feels just wired.

Not hilarious at all, especially in the context of my funeral.

If my 1,705 Facebook friends are there as well as my 4,232 Twitter followers, plus family (lol), then when Warp Is Ten Track 7 kicks in after Beach At Redpoint it will be a #party and not a fucking sadface event. You have to let go, mang. For the greater good.

Just heard Reach For The Dead played on Radio Scotland. I do wonder if this album is going to take them a bit more mainstream.

i heard it on Chill channel via Sirius on the way home from camping.

nice, yeah someone who runs that Chill station is definitely an idm fanboy. They played a shit load of tracks off of Move of ten like Iris is a Pupil and other weird choices that are not 'chill' at all. I wonder if somebody can find out who's doing that? would be cool to send whoever it is some promos.

Yeah it's a really good record from the moments I had w/ it. At least four or five really good solid beaty ones (full length songs). It's got a lot of bang for the buck. Tops The Campfire Headphase easily. No mixing tracks into the next. Every track was a separate thing and most faded out into silence before the next started. In that way it seemed like a lot of single one off tracks rather than a flowing cohesive thing, but there were some flow moments w/in the track selection sometimes nonetheless. Unmistakably their style.

The Warp guy who was really chill, gave out water to everyone, and we got some album cover posters (two sizes) and hexagon logo stickers afterward. He also said Mike and Marcus texted him at the end to tell us that they loved us. :boc::wub:

I'm going to be resolute in waiting to hear all of the other tracks, other than Reach For The Dead, upon release of the album. I've got an important exam on June 12th and I'm going to use my first listen of the album as a post-exam reward.

With the Japanese release next Wednesday, I'll be posting photos of the vinyl and maybe some video too - if I can manage to avoid Tower Records sales assistants.

I'll be putting it all at the address below if anyone is interested.

Just a sidenote, but I'm slightly puzzled by the Japanese getting this early given that Warp have been careful in avoiding a leak.

I know a large proportion of the existing fan base will already have this on pre-order, but surely this will be heavily pirated when it goes live in Japan.

Ireland and Germany get it 3 days before Europe. Even though they are both in Europe.

It's coming out early in Japan to preclude the domestic audience there from purchasing the cheaper imported version. Same for why some Japanese releases come with bonus tracks, etc. You're absolutely right though - come 4th June, the files will most likely be online for download, and for 6 (7) days, sales of the US/UK/ROW versions will be cannibalized due to their availability from the pirated versions (assuming they don't release the digital versions for those who preordered before then, or it's leaked because promos have now been distributed to journos).

All of you nerds who say BOC isn't music for big speakers/other people need to get out of the fucking house more. Stop daydreaming, this shit doesn't belong to you. Cut them neckbeards, eat a salad, meet a lady. This is currently my problem with even discussing BOC with other people, as I can't abide the greasy sausage fest that hems them in, it smells of men who have never bust a nut.

through the years, a man peoples a space with images of provinces, kingdoms, mountains, bays, ships, islands, fishes, rooms, tools, stars, horses and people. shortly before his death, he discovers that the patient labyrinth of lines traces the image of his own face.

Probably due to shipping? I would think both Ireland and Germany have pretty robust shipping industries, though.

I believe the dates for Ireland and Germany are iTunes release dates. so it makes it even sillier.

Australia also gets it on the 7th - granted, this is Wikipedia, so how accurate is this?

and yeah, both the Ireland and Germany release dates are iTunes releases. yet the Europe release date, even on iTunes, is still 10th June.

I'm SICK and TIRED of normal people listening to the music I listen to! It's making me sick! My weird taste in music is the only unique thing about me, so these people needs to STOP! Right now!
