Just a sidenote, but I'm slightly puzzled by the Japanese getting this early given that Warp have been careful in avoiding a leak.

I know a large proportion of the existing fan base will already have this on pre-order, but surely this will be heavily pirated when it goes live in Japan.

I'm more puzzled by this

Ireland and Germany get it 3 days before Europe. Even though they are both in Europe.

:derp:

Probably due to shipping? I would think both Ireland and Germany have pretty robust shipping industries, though.

I believe the dates for Ireland and Germany are iTunes release dates. so it makes it even sillier.

Australia also gets it on the 7th - granted, this is Wikipedia, so how accurate is this?

the sources would seem accurate

and yeah, both the Ireland and Germany release dates are iTunes releases. yet the Europe release date, even on iTunes, is still 10th June.

Silly to us, perhaps, but maybe the staggered digital release dates is a countermeasure against piracy from the early Japanese release?

All of you nerds who say BOC isn't music for big speakers/other people need to get out of the fucking house more. Stop daydreaming, this shit doesn't belong to you. Cut them neckbeards, eat a salad, meet a lady. This is currently my problem with even discussing BOC with other people, as I can't abide the greasy sausage fest that hems them in, it smells of men who have never bust a nut.

kinda ot but i see some irony in this, i'll just say what difference is it to you if someone has never busted a nut

amen. and i can't believe that sitting around analyzing everything down to each hihat hit is good for you psychologically. It turns you into an unlikable know it all that lives almost exclusively inside his own head.

I was at my sexiest when I started to listen to BOC. And, I had a beautiful, hot ladyfriend too, that loved their music.

Not really clear on how this is ironic. Also, I never said it made any difference to me, but if you can't smell the reek of unspent sperm in the general area of this discussion, then you need to use a netti pot. It is obvious that Warp and BOC have done nothing but go out of there way to make sure people actually leave their stinky bedrooms to pursue the music, and force (albeit slightly awkward) social situations on each other. The idea that "this music is just for US, and not for THEM!" is really churlish. Also, any new listeners and wider audience that this may drum up for BOC would be well deserved, and I think having been in the game for 15+ years, BOC are not going to pull some major switcheroo and make an album that farts in the face of their core audience.

edit* if you mean ironic by way of me saying that I don't want to discuss BOC, but I am currently discussing BOC...well THIS IS WHAT IT HAS COME TO.

Edited by thanks robert moses

Honestly, I don't see how this is relevant in any way. Just listen to the music.

Not sure if it's the same where you are, but here people who make fun of beards are usually the people who can't grow them themselves.

And I fucking love salads.
