someone get rich on the phone, tell him his fake instrument days are over! it's time for a proper sound pallet of the same guitar in every track and crystal clear drums as opposed to all those ridiculous self-made noises

c'mon guys, you know what I meant. moreover I'm amazed that the drumtrack can be easily transcribed to a real drum kit. some of his tricks are quite smart.

i like the way he does the drum roll in flim. (the actual version).. sounds like a crossfade with a tom to a snare, but it sounds so natural and perfect

what makes me wonder when I see these videos it's that once you see some one play those tracks with "n o t s e q u e n c e d" instruments, I can understand a little better the composition and I also see that Aphex music it's not only about sound, but it's mostly about composition. And also, it seems like that, soundwise, Aphex understands sounds pretty well so that his track played on traditional instruments really can exploit the sonic range of the instrument.

no drum covers can even get close to the style of original afx drums.
