I'm not coveting any records but it's a great big fat sack of bull shit that I pre-ordered, probably won't get my record until November, it will probably be damaged like everyone elses, and those people that didn't preorder (I pre-order solely to ensure I get a copy because sometimes stuff sells out quick) get this at 25% off. There should be a benefit to pre-ordering, not a penalty. Often pre-orders are used to project total sales and relevant costs and it's kind of ridiculous we're being penalized for preordering and doing these companies a favour.

It's straight up bullshit man any way you cut it.

I don't have a problem with Bleep and I'm fairly loyal to them but I actually sent them a message 2 days ago letting them know how much negative flack they were recieving here on watmmer and twoism, and perhaps they should start sorting it all out. My reply seemed to confirm they knew all about it lol.

I don't have a problem with Bleep and I'm fairly loyal to them but I actually sent them a message 2 days ago letting them know how much negative flack they were recieving here on watmmer and twoism, and perhaps they should start sorting it all out. Next time we're making a petition, it's going directly to the label instead of the artist. At least the label has some "rational" incentives to actually respond and do something.

thanks for preordering. Your order is now 25% more expensive and takes 5 times loger to deliver if it ever arrives after everybody else got their release from a local store or pirated it on the internet

they were aware people were unhappy and trying to sort out all the problems, it was a bit of a robotic reply, and to be honest gave me the impression I had wasted my time

Cutting prices 4 days after the release date while a bunch of customers who've paid 6 weeks ago are still waiting for their now overpriced pre-order isn't sorting out anything I'm afraid. Until yesterday I was mostly cool about the situation believe it or not but now I'm done, I hope my stuff makes it here intact so that I don't have to deal with them again. Bit ironic that the 25% discount would more or less have amounted to free shipping on my order. Considering the lack of Tomorrow's Harvest records and CD on my shelves I'm not convinced the shipping was worth paying for in the first place.

Small factual error in my last post, it was 3 days after the release, not 4. My bad!

yes, but if this was the case wouldn't it have been a lot cheaper then to just cater to the needs of a small number of preorder folks, rather than have a costly sale open to everyone. At every turn they haven't been catering to your needs and now they want you to spend more money, instead of just sending out some promo release with a poster and some stickers or something.

Perhaps the legal department (heh) won't let them admit fault.
