"Nothing is Real." the album is one of my favorite things any of the subforum artists have made.

"Palace Posy" in second place.

new seeds feels like the most well-realized track, but the one-two punch of palace posey-->split your infinities is the pinnacle.

Hard to pick just one... but Nothing Is Real does it for me.

so, what do you think the voice is saying in this?

It's clearly Cold Earth. Or New Seeds. Or Reach For The Dead.....

I really can't decide on this. I love them all equally

Its early days for me yet but Sundown is mindblowing. New Seeds is fucking amazing, in fact the second half of the album is.

This. If this poll is any indication sundown is massively underrated (wat). Beautiful beast of a track - really ties together the second half of the album, which as you correctly point out is fucking amazing.

I chose Nothing Is Real but it was a tough choice. I really dig Cold Earth, Palace Posy and Reach for the Dead. Overall I love the entire album, I was stuck in traffic for almost an hour and a half today and this album helped me get though it

i can't believe new seeds is ahead.

what is wrong with you people?

:diablo:

because it implies hope?

that track was obviously just made to attract new listeners to the rest of their music with the boring sound of guitars.

...like the whole campfire headphase album.

Reach for the Dead. Absolute classic and probably my favourite BOC tune. New Seeds and Come to Dust are also standouts.

The Campfire Headphase is the better album, though. So much more attention to detail, melodies, the tracks develop much more. The idea behind this album is cooler, for sure. It had potential. I just wish they pulled it off with similar, focus, passion, whatever you want to call it. I think people are really missing the point when they focus so much on the guitars, since they are not used like a typical rhythm or lead guitar (except on Dayvan Cowboy, which is clearly much better than anything on TH), more of a sonic reference. They still sounded like BoC, but were clearly advancing their sound and stepping up their game as producers, guitars or not.

This new one sounds like a big step backwards to me, in that it reminds me more of BoC imitators or a generic fan tribute on twoism.org or something. Cutting the tracks short so that it reminds you of a soundtrack (...what?) was a terrible idea. And the new elements they're bringing to their sound just aren't convincing, like the music doesn't have enough muscle to convey a truly apocalyptic vibe or even match earlier tracks done in a similar style. It would serve fine as a soundtrack to something like a Koyaaniqatsi or Samsara focused on mankind's demise, but as a standalone album, it's pretty undercooked.

But yeah, Come To Dust is a solid tune.

100% agree

After this I listened to geogaddi and I didn't like it, I was quite vomitting at some tracks, I realized they were too crazy for my ears, they took too much acid to play music I stupidly thought (cliché of psyché music) But I knew this album was a kind of big forest where I just wasn't able to go inside.

I was in US tjis summer, and eat in KFC. FUCK That's the worst thing i've ever eaten. The flesh simply doesn't cleave to the bones. Battery ferming. And then, foie gras is banned from NY state, because it's considered as ill-treat. IT'S NOT. KFC is tourist ill-treat. YOU POISONERS! Two hours after being to KFC, i stopped in a amsih little town barf all that KFC shit out. Nice work!

So i hope this woman is not like kfc chicken, otherwise she'll be pulled to pieces.

TH has already largely faded for me. Two months ago, I would never in a million years have imagined saying that about a new BOC album.

Nothing Is Real would be my favourite, I guess.

Too early to tell. I have my "initial preference", which would be Nothing is Real. After a few playthroughs I'll probably settle on something less "pretty" and more densely layered, and then finally something compositionally complex. I had this problem with TCH, my first pick was Dayvan Cowboy, then Peacock Tail, and now I'd have to say my favorite from that album is Satellite Anthem Icarus, but that was at least three years of listening to the album over and over again.

Satellite Anthem Icarus is totally the bomb. yeah it is normally the way with me too. the tracks i initially love eventually become replaced with the ones i overlooked, and yes it can take years.... thats why i picked Telepath, because in a few years it will be on the same level as Olson. I seriously love Telepath, Come to dust has really grown on me, but still getting to know the whole second half of the album
