not really sure why people think there's a guitar on new seeds...

Think they mentioned in one of the interviews that they sampled bass guitar and drums to create some of the elements on that track. There have only been a couple of interviews so it shouldn't be hard to find, unless I'm imagining it.

Too early to tell. I have my "initial preference", which would be Nothing is Real. After a few playthroughs I'll probably settle on something less "pretty" and more densely layered, and then finally something compositionally complex. I had this problem with TCH, my first pick was Dayvan Cowboy, then Peacock Tail, and now I'd have to say my favorite from that album is Satellite Anthem Icarus, but that was at least three years of listening to the album over and over again.

Nothing Is Real is pretty but disturbing at the same time, kind of like Happy Cycling, with the creepy choir in the back

very difficult to find a best track though

i voted sick times but i now like split your infinities even more, the second half of the track which did nothing for me at first, now rules! the abstract beats are up there with there best stuff imo

Fuck it... I'm changing my vote to Semena Mertvykh

I've developed an addiction for that track.

Darkest BOC track since You Could Feel The Sky.

I think Happy Cycling is more unnerving than Nothing Is Real. The elements were more understated back then, and this album seems more up front in presenting itself.

I waited 3 weeks before casting my vote in order to fully digest this masterpiece. I voted for the incredible Come To Dust, surely one of their best ever tracks. Next in line is Sundown which is easily the most atmospheric piece on the album. Superb album and well worth the wait.

nothing is real, but HOLY CHRIST is the last minute and a half of palace posy beatiful

im not getting all the love for come to dust at all though

Come to Dust is incredibly badass! those massive synths that come in at 52 seconds just don't leave anything in the bag. Its giving absolutely everything right there. emotionally powerful sound that just feels awesome to pump the volume on. I'd say the reason it didn't get my vote is because it's so epic it should have kept going a little longer.... hardly a huge flaw. but shit, the sound flows right through my body and i'm left wanting more

cold earth is a bit hit and miss to me,sometimes i really dig it,but other listens it just doesn,t hit the spot, strange

Took me long enough to make up my mind, but I have to add a vote for Sundown, I love everything about it. It's so minimal and beautiful and at the same time there's this unsettling mood shift developing all within two and a half minutes. It sits perfectly between two 'big' tracks on the album (I mean, look at the votes), and its length is just right.

There's this trend in Tomorrow's Harvest towards less extreme track lengths (even Telepath lasts for over a minute and a half and hardly any tracks go on for much longer than five) and although opinions differ I've concluded that it just works for me. No tracks on here are really underdeveloped but more importantly nor do any outstay their welcome, which was something that bugged me about The Campfire Headphase, even if their older albums had similarly extreme track lengths.

go team palace posy

...just the second half tho...

1st half > 2nd half

it's immaculate.

prefer the first half too (up until around the 2:30 mark) of Palace Posy

favourite stand alone track on this album is probably Jacquard Causeway though. Has a decent length, a unique sound and approach in comparison to the rest of the album, and also compared to their other albums, while still being distinctively BoC.
