after John posted it I was listening first time closer to it- via headphones. Seems the instrumental got some edits and slight sound variations more then the non-instrumental one.
What wondered me a lot is the absence of effects on the remix lyrics- okay, aside a few reverse shots and the layering. Would have been nice to see them mauling the raps on the Funkstorung selector.

oh... so i thought this was only available with sensational rapping over it?

it was before Gl0tch managed to get a copy of it sent it to me and i sent it to Six who saved a copy of it and put it back onto mediafire. Would have been cool if Richard Devine credited any of us for the find, oh well at least he did on Facebook. I guess digital files being 'discovered' is not really something you can lay claim to Edited by John Ehrlichman

someone who is personal friends with Autechre decided to share it with Gl0tch, all he did was ask if such a track existed (the same instrumental without the vocals) and he was sent the file. Makes me wonder how much other unreleased AE there is out there, surely the soundboards for Quaristice and Oversteps exist outside the Sean and Rob unit, I wouldn't be surprised if this same guy had them both

What?!

Fuck people, do you even look around these parts? This link comes from this forum, rare tracks thread. Instrumental version of Sensachre 10 mix from Kouhei meets Sensational LP.

lol yeah, I've had this since july 2011 and probably before since the date is from a fresh os install.

quite a brilliant track ackshully

After this I listened to geogaddi and I didn't like it, I was quite vomitting at some tracks, I realized they were too crazy for my ears, they took too much acid to play music I stupidly thought (cliché of psyché music) But I knew this album was a kind of big forest where I just wasn't able to go inside.

I was in US tjis summer, and eat in KFC. FUCK That's the worst thing i've ever eaten. The flesh simply doesn't cleave to the bones. Battery ferming. And then, foie gras is banned from NY state, because it's considered as ill-treat. IT'S NOT. KFC is tourist ill-treat. YOU POISONERS! Two hours after being to KFC, i stopped in a amsih little town barf all that KFC shit out. Nice work!

So i hope this woman is not like kfc chicken, otherwise she'll be pulled to pieces.

-organized confused project

I knew nothing of this until now. Though I'm an infrequent lurker at best, I want to speak up here and thank the chaps involved in unearthing this gem. Much appreciated!

And I must say I prefer this version. Autechre plus rapping has limitless potential for goodness, but it always bugged me how Sensational spends only half the time putting his voice to good use. OH YEA YEA LETS DO THIS over and over

Autechre just took vocals from the Kouhei track 666 Of My Fat which has less than 2 minutes duration. Sensational rapped over Stockhausen in Bill Laswell's studio when he was a teen, he would deliver if he had a chance. I think Ae should better have manipulated vocals into a rhythm track, they don't connect with each other.

Oh right, thanks for clarifying. For some reason I'd always assumed it to be some kind of original filesharing arrangement, like Shadow Huntaz. In that case I'd agree that they could've done a bit more with this vocals.

I wouldn't be surprised if them Ae boys weren't interested in those lyrics in the first place. Those vocals were probably just another bunch of sounds which added to the collection of those other sounds.

In terms of speculation: the fact that there's a version without the vocals makes me wonder wether they added those later to the official remix. As if there was some constraint, or they were asked to add these vocals in later. ...compromises...

I'd be surprised if they were asked to compromise though. And even more surprised if they did.

I highly doubt that they were even paid to do this remix - the label and artist had no money at all. Sensational was homeless (don't know if it's still like that), WordSound don't exist anymore.

Rob Brown once said in an 00s interview that Sean is well into Sensational. They played his tracks in marathons and their FACT mix. Most likely this remix is a homage to Sensational (hence Sensachre 10 name) by Sean solo.
